Don't tell me that WSL isn't pushing the Brazilian surfers in this comp. Don't tell me there isn't bias. Yago is a great surfer, but that wasn't a 9.17. It was a 6. The three extra points were derived from the sponsors and the fans that would heartbroken if Dora didn't advance.

YYago victory was cristal clear, still some i call Brazilian haters shows their dirty faces to complain. There is always something they say when a Brazilian wins,.to much airs, lousy waves and idiots saying the crowd is a menace to the judges. Colapinto is over scored way to much and also a master claimer.

Mid-7 would have been fine, 8 to play the crowd, but a 9 for that?!? Come on WSL, this is how you lose the faith of the fans that the game aint rigged to play to a sponsor friendly narrative
They were handing out 5's for 2 turns so of course that was a 9. Best wave that broke all day, good size and he did 5 different solid turns. It is a beachbreak not cloudbreak. Definitely a 9, no worries at all
WSL needs 2 Brazilians in the final five, things are going exactly as scripted. A friend works for the trophy company and it has been manufactured already.
The way the judges scored John, they forgot their own stated criteria....speed, POWER, and flow....they definitely did not appreciate the power of John. But Yago has been surfing beautifully recently, and is the LEAST claiming Brazilian which I really appreciate, he's been letting his surfing do the "talking".

dude in what planet are u born if u don't surf the wave as it deserves don't make a show that score was a 7 and the wave a potential 10.
9.17 is over scored but it was definitely higher than a 5 which still would have put him through. Rooting for JJF but this one wasn’t his.
