A little dark a little light, the Weezy is a strategy taken advantage of the Don't Pass, 4, and 10 to hang around the table and try to make a little profit, I'm going to ladder it, will it work?
🤔I am a little confused on the thinking behind the strategy. Is the DP merely a hedge to protect the 4 & 10, or are you playing Dark hoping for a choppy table and make money on Big Red? I also struggle with the ladder: the DP only goes up $15 but the 4 & 10 go up a total of $30 so the DP protection goes down with every ladder up. I have not looked at Weezy on CQ yet, or if I did, I failed to take notes, to see how they are playing this (DP is for hedge or profit). This did have a high swing and amazing how it did recover. But you have to have faith and swallow hard while pushing out those larger stacks due to so many bad hits. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
Having studied and played the Weezy several times, with success, I'm not sure I understand the odds you were playing in the beginning on the 6/8. $15 or $30 obviously work better than $20. Although the system doesn't say to take odds on the 4/10, as this is the best bet in the casino I would likely take at least 2x odds (especially if down).

Looks like a variation of the martingale strategy. Sooner or later you run out of money or reach the table limit.
