That bike is all original apart from the exhaust which as he said is a yoshimura 4 into 1, the rest including the polishing is factory . The title does not claim its original , just a very clran example , which it is . I had one exactly the same but it still had the twin exhausts
@@MrTarmonbarry nope, so much is Not correct. The antique was never polished. It was a satin cast finish, the peg holders serve a textured steel. His is polished out..the SEAT is the 1100 seat, the 1000 seat was completely different material. All the covers were polished but clear coated over so it too was a satin finish..
@@vcmcrew I know the bike very well , i had the 1000 cc, with the slide carbs , those things were heavy on the wrist. Found a set of c.v ones at a very reasonable price and put those on when i rebuilt the bike and put a Niko Baker exhaust on it , not standard i know but the resst was non standard after i rebuilt it . The barrels were originally painted silver , same with the engine casings . I had the ngine shot blasted and painted black with some very good heat resistant paint , red powder coated frame , wheels powder coated black but with the silver parts kept silver but hoghly polished to get rid of the machining marks on the spokes . No , it was far from original by the time i had finished but i liked it and as i owned it thats all that matters . This one says ''restored'' in the title , nothing about to original , just restored , its not original but it does look good . It also is a 1000cc but has the c.v carbs which were not on the original U.K model but this is an American one so they might be correct for American spec
