Literally for the bump to bar, don’t even take the supports off. Drawn your line at the new bottom 1 foot or whatever you want down and move the bottom support to it. Turn it on its side and cut along the line, resheet and done.

That footage could be accessed wirelessly and it would also allow you to have backup of all your activities. You could even make a timelapse after a year, and it would be the craziest skate part of all time, lol.

As someone who also doesnt have a ton of experience with woodworking but is in the trades, try to make your life as easy as possible. Plan everything out, measure twice, and be ready to screw up! It happens and its the only way to learn. Dont be too hard on yourself because you've learned a lot very fast. In another life you would have loved working in the trades, I can tell! I have really bad tinnitus from years of going to shows without ear protection and then destroying my ears in games like Escape from Tarkov, and I can be super sensitive to loud noises now, but the garage doors do not bother me at all. I can see how the joke might get old or corny but it seems like such a non-issue. Also, I'm invested in seeing the two doors open simultaneously now.

I noticed you ollied only from the side onto the rial. Have you tried ollied onto the rail of its beginning. So you must ollie over the edge of the rail to grind it.

I work with wood and metal kinda similar stuff to what your building. If you can weld and cut metal you can frame wood. Trust me. You got this easily it’s gonna be smooth sailing
