Most Americans don’t know how epic the whole rally scene is, ecpecially this era and group. I love this shit I don’t know why it never caught on as big here.
It did catch on massively, hell it's the only reason rallying exists in North America.

People here would've felt alienated there weren't no drivers representing them. No American company would sponsor a driver or an American coverage of the events. Which is both sad and ironic because this is more closer to the whole bootlegger dirt driving that our NASCAR was supposedly based on.
As soon as I found out about it, I loved it. Sadly it all happened before I was born.

Rallies are the most environmentally friendly of the automobile racing, you don't need to cut down large area of forest to make tracks and the trees would just absorb all the carbon the race cars emits.
