Hornby Visitor Centre Margate

Today I fulfilled a childhood dream and visited the Hornby Hobbies Visitors Centre in Margate. Wonderful place, and at £5 to take a look around, bargain! I honestly cannot recommend it enough. The place for me brought back a lot of good memories, and I was also surprised to see how much there was discounted within the shop. If you have watched Honrby A Model World on TV then I highly recommend visiting the Hornby Visitors Centre. There is even a lovely café too!

Great video, Steve! - and fellow Airfix fan here. The box art, through the 60s and 70s, was the work of Roy Cross, still going at 98 years young.

In the 70's work experience in schools just meant going to a factory one afternoon and my school sent us to Rovex.
