- It's been a while since we've done a livestream on Facebook, and for those who don't do social media, here is our latest! This time, Jason, Jordan and Jeff are joined by none other than Model Railroad News editor Tony Cook to discuss a number Rapido projects!
So my take on this is prepare my future wallet for CN/VIA balloon top passenger cars, CN S13s, RS23s (please do DEVCO Railway RS23s), GO GP40TC and since you will eventually do the RS23/S13 we might possibly get CN RSC24s (you already have the trucks). :)
Hmm, we have a lot of new Canadian stuff in the works. All of these are possibilities!
Ah, you had me at the UP C36-7! I hope we will have photo etched grills etc.
Is Aurora still planning on doing a C36-7?
Are you guys going to do any "mystery boxes" this year? You previously did the set of regular/premium through the year, and then did the one at Christmas (which included a DCC loco).
The mystery boxes should be coming back for Christmas later this year

Will Rapido ever do the current GO Transit MPI MPExpress locomotives at some point. That would be a great opportunity to bring out another round of bilevel coaches and the current cab cars GO is using. I want to add them to my fleet of 9 Rapido F59PH GO Transit locomotives.
Not planned at this time, but anything is possible

As a WM modeler/collector myself, I guarantee chopnosed WM Geeps would sell out almost immediately. Chessie fans go nuts over anything. haha I would preorder at least 3 or 4.
I'm a Rock Island modeler, and even I've got one of these things! They had at least two of them on lease in '72-73, and they're entirely too cool to pass up.

Will rapido do a matching locomotive to the coaster bilevel commuter cars?
Not planned in the short term but anything is possible! The Coaster F40's were a bit of a different animal from the standard EMD versions.
I would like it so much if RAPIDO could make available their N scale passengers cars by unit instead of a set . I own the Canadian in CP Rail colors and VIA colors and would like to add more cars like a dome or a baggage cars .

Did ya miss the part where they talked about other companies that have alllllllmost identical models? Holla at ST.
ScaleTrains might be the best to do these. They already have the very similar early C39-8!
