Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I love experimenting with any adaptations I do, be it stuff like "Company for BoCo" or this one. Something about it just makes me feel all giddy on the inside.
98462 don't Care,he never did,he thinks he can do what he wants and get away with, and he don't Care about the others,he didn't even Care when he was sent away Because in his mind he was glad to be away from Sodor, the Fatt Director and ALL the Engines.
Goodness, the tone and music make this sound so much more dramatic than I was expecting. It reminds me of the old video about the NWR and Oliver's origin.
I like listening and watching this story from another user. Nice of you to make your own adaptation to this. This is fantastic (like the narrator's narration here. ;] ) Well done!
This absolutely beautiful this feels like a entire movie with the visuals and music and the fact that Edward is the main focus screams masterpiece not only did you and whoever narrated this you guys should get a oscar and awards for everything 1000000000000/100000000000
As much as I love this, I still think it would have been a great touch to have had a scene with 98462 making fun of the Half Engine as we saw in the Half Engine episode. But I understand why, the Half Engine most likely wasn't planned at the time of this video.
I must have to admit Fantastic Mr. S did a very good job doing the narration and also his voice for the fat director remind me of King Triton from the little mermaid.
@@ciarangleeson2880 I’m sure that’s probably due in part to 98462 being portrayed as Alfred the Holden B12. But I would interpret 98462 being a truly cruel engine regardless whether he is Alfred or not.
What type of locomotive is 98462 in this story? It looks like a LNER B4. I really like it but I prefer him as an LNER B12. T1E2H3 did amazing with Alfred’s/98462’s story
I think that it would be amazing if there was a Thomas and friends story that includes Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck, Donald, Douglas, Bill, Ben, Diesel, Daisy, BoCo, Bertie, Terence, Trevor, Harold, Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta, Sir Topham Hatt (who is also called The Fat Controller) and the Troublesome Trucks and also 98462 and 87546 as well. All the characters would speak in the story, plus 98462 and 87546 would serve as the antagonists. The story would be an inspiration of series 1 and series 2, and it would be shown to take place between series 2 and series 3.
@@ciarangleeson2880 Edward would serve as the main protagonist, 98462 and 87546 would serve as the main antagonists, and Gordon would serve as the secondary antagonist (due to that he has a great deal in common with 98462 and 87546). So my only bit of constructive criticism on these stories is that the sound mixing is not as good as it can be. Either the background music's too loud or the audio's too quiet at points and I can barely understand what's happening. There's no closed captioning either so this leads to overall issues with the experience, at least for me. I would recommend either making some captions or adjusting the audio so that the narration can be heard throughout, if that's at all possible. Thank you very much!
What an ABSOLUTELY RUDE engine, that 98462! He should NOT have treated Edward that way!! That is WRONG AND DISGRACEFUL!!! SO glad when The Fat Director finally finished him off for his rude actions and sent him packing.

A big thank you to Fantastic Mr. S for providing the narration in this video. Go subscribe to him, the guy is epic: th-cam.com/users/FantasticMrS

Amazing adaptation! I love that you used Julian Nott’s music!
This is some quality content. Amazing work!
Love the use of Franz Liszt!!! Well done!
I liked this story and I've seen it before. You gave it a new vibe and kept a few key moments. Loved the music that went with the scenery!
Nice work Fantastic Mr.S did a outstanding job of narrating the story

Best adaptation of this story yet
What an excellent story. Especially the way Edward raised his voice collecting his passenger coaches to 94862.
That's a wonderful story
Fantastic Mr. S is an incredible narrator! He reminds me of Pierce Brosnan!
But he does good at doing the voice of Gordon. It sounds just like his voice from the CGI series.
Thomas and Henry were by Edward's side
I love Fantastic Mr. S's narration. Plus interesting use of music too. I think I heard music from Wallace and Gromit the wrong trousers in some parts.
Gordon and 98462 are very jealous of the old engine.
An awesome video!!! Keep up the wonderful work!! 👍😊👍
I almost got emotional at the end. Beautiful story!
Nice work!
Great story written by Mainland Studio also great work adapting this story well done!

Between 98462 and 87546, I interpret 98462 to be the worse of the two, to the point where he would be considered a narcissist.
That’s how most fans portray them.

Nicely done! Though it's hard to hear the narration over the SFX and music, so, you could've adjusted the volume accordingly.
