Your teeth carry secrets: centuries of history about your ancestors, from where they lived to what they ate and where they traveled. Bioarchaeologist Carolyn Freiwald traces the story of human migration across the Americas -- from Mayan royalty and Belizean buccaneers to rural Appalachian farmers -- to illustrate what ancient teeth can reveal about you.
The TED Talks channel features the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes (or less). One of the most fascinating compelling lectures I’ve heard. A gentle presentation of a timely subject matter reminding us of our common ancestry as a species with some similar and some dissimilar patterns of behavior. Strength in diversity illuminated in all kingdoms of life. Well done !

Great presentation. Carolyn was quite informative, as most TED talks are. I would love to see this be shown in classrooms in middle school and high school. Learning how to behave extends to all cultures, and in time we will never see race or violence we see in our daily lives among the many things we can achieve with goodwill and consistent learning. Thank You.

Teeth are the fundamental framework upon which life is built & maintained.
Life: cooperatively maintained respectfully enough by the last sphincter in the tubular carcass of the living entity.
Weird enough though?, The back of my front teeth have the scoops but I most assuredly am certainly not of Asiatic nor of American indigenous Indian descent.

"O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three". Cease! (it is) better for you! Allah is only One God. Far is it removed from His transcendent majesty that he should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender."

Hello Anastasiya, I know how you feel but TED videos are being translated by volunteers they have something called "ted translators" since the video was uploaded one day ago so it may take some time to be translated to other languages. I guess you can make request to translate it to your preferred language you need to check that.
