if you're looking online, AliExpress is what i like to use, they have fairly cheap supplies, and they have a large selection. i use it for washi tapes, memo-pads, and stickers. Hope this helps !

Just ask at your local post office. They will be able to help you! Otherwise do research on google of the transshipper you want to use. Here in germany you can just go to your local post office and tell that your letter is for another country. It will only be a little more expensive. I hope you are able to understand my english. 😅
It should be like sending a normal letter but a bit more expensive. I don't know about canadian mail but I think you should be able to give the letter to the post office? They should also be able to tell you the exacts costs if you want to buy stamps instead. I just make sure to also write the country it's going to under the adress and make sure to think of the costs for international letters or give the letter to a post office but apart from that it's not much different than a letter within my own country. But maybe asking at a post office would be a good start .
