      Yes and no.
      The extent of the response to this man and his work as a judge is more of an indictment of what we have come to expect from judges as a group. That this man is so lauded for being compassionate and taking the time to understand people’s circumstances more fully tells us how desperately rare he is.
      Even the tiniest glimmer of hope is still hope, and this man is indeed a tiny glimmer in an ocean of elitism and arrogance. And yes, thank GOD for that tiny glimmer.

    • @Sventy7sevens
      @Sventy7sevens หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Disagree. I understand this is just an extreme statement to overstate the value of having/being a good father.. but unfortunately with money you can dom anything. Money can save the spotted owl, money can change the life of anyone you see fit, money can fund research to stop infection diseases, money could possibly cure cancer with the right amount of allocation…. so well having a good dad teaching you to be a good person has value the things you could actually do to better the world with “all the money” are vastly more valuable.

      @@storm1110 I knew that was going to be the argument, but you can’t say with absolute certainty that just because you had no dad or a crappy one you won’t know to do good things with your money… that COULD be the case but it’s not an absolute certainty.. so again I say, having all the money in the world is vastly more valuable then having a good dad. The things you could do with “all the money in the world” far and way surpass just being a good person because you had a good dad.. no one hurt me, and I get what you’re saying it’s just such an overwhelming overstatement. Like yes being and having a good father can be a wonderful thing for a child/young adult.. but you could have just said that, don’t pit it up against “having all the money in the world” which you could do FAR AND AWAY better things with. Again I get what you’re saying, it’s just an overstatement and it’s ridiculous. You also never said anything about happiness, the happiness of the person is irrelevant, they could also be miserable with all that money and still change the WORLD for the better with it.. and in my no ya know what it’s not even an opinion it’s just a fact that changing the world for the better, has more value then any father could ever have…

    • @Sventy7sevens
      @Sventy7sevens หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If you said something like “having a great father is worth more then 500,000 dollars” it doesn’t hit the same and sounds dumb so I get why you said what you said.. but you do see how ridiculous and ignorant the statement is, right? Like we have to stop talking like this… in the RIGHT HANDS nothing has more value then all the money in the world.. because in the right hands all the money (which means all the control) could change our world in ways that improve life for EVERY man woman and child.. how could a good father be more valuable then that?

      But see till this day YOU REMEMBER. You, DEAR JUDGE, FRANK CAPRIO have done SO MUCH in the WORLD . I watch you, and so many times you make a LIFE LESSON and let them off. You are truly a WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING.
      I try so hard to still do & give what I can because MOM, who is in HEAVEN NOW, taught me to ALWAYS DO WHAT I CAN.
      I'm NOT in a good way right now. But I still DON'T ask I STILL TRY TO DO SOMETHING SOMEWAY.
      I know there are lots who have enough that it would be really a penny out of their pocket to help me, so I might at least be out of pain.
      My treatments are forever. No cure those are covered. I'm ok with that . Pain, though, is hard from car accidents. Not covered for that makes life harder. But I know those who have and would want to help would. I won't ask. Guess told no hurts too much . But that won't stop me from still trying to help. I miss mom.
      Please know you have made up in the many years what you did with that case your first day. May God bless you ,may God watch over you and keep you going and safe. I pray to mom to help so many you are included. I just love you. Please remember all the good you have done for so many.❤❤
      My feelings always have been even if I know wealthy people I don't ask .I don't know why people think if their family or friends are wealthy, they should be entitled. They worked hard for there money. I can tell you ,you can ask all who know me. I'm thrilled when my family or friends are thriving ,traveling, new cars , and new houses.
      I would never want people I care about to live like I am never. Please don't get me wrong I do get some help. I wouldn't survive without it. But I sure wish I could fix my pain. I think when one day I'm called to be with mom in heaven. We'll, be able to be pain free than. Kinda wish life would be pain-free while I'm here on earth . But I'll be ok when the time in the future comes at least I know than I'll be.

      @@alvinlalhmingliana3627fuck man that hurts. He reminds me of the judge that helped make sure I didn’t destroy my life. Before I went up the person before got his sentence of violating his parole in MO because he couldn’t afford to live there after he lost his job, reported everything properly in MO but missed one or two things in MS. After he asked the judge if he was related to a kid who he used to go to that kids grandpas house and he was and they both thanked each other for not allowing that to change his sentence, it was light and basically just a shorter parole in MS. When I came up I basically had to announce why I was there because of unpaid court fees, and explained my college schedule (7am-7pm, Monday-Friday) he told me “you shouldn’t be here. Take however long to pay the court fees, you can’t work because of school so stay in school and do this program and focus on your future”. He didn’t do anything besides say he wouldn’t make a judgement if the fees hadn’t been paid but cared enough to want me to just not do something so stupid that he admitted he had done 40-50isb years ago. It was humbling and I’ve tried to do and be better since.

      And the reason I couldn’t work is because I was a music ed major, my class schedule was 7am-7pm every day, with 4 hours of practice every day 2hrs required and 2hrs because I was practicing for international competitions. Tough tough schedule, wouldn’t recommend it as I broke down heavily by the end of my music career.

My dad allowed me to make the nastiest mistakes of my life, left me to fend for my own, let me run with the wrong people, done horrible things to good people, half of my "friends" were either dead or incarcerated, accumulated ill-gotten wealth, but when I got tired of it all, he told me to come home, and continued to provide for me, took me in when everyone else just gave cold shoulders, dad was wise when he said "You have to go through all that, to really understand the lessons I taught you" "I could've died Pops!" "You are my boy, I trust you carry my words with you, I know your strengths, you already have the makings, you just gotta temper it with experience, I never lost faith in you."

      @@lokosstratos7192because obeying laws is a fundamentally conservative trait (not talking about politics) and he was trained to follow judiciary rules. They’re an if-then case. One could argue that rules are rules and most judges think that way.
      But seeing this guy’s videos, he bends the laws (not familiar with how the legal system in the US works, but seen his videos online where he pardons people for tickets where they were in the wrong according to the data, but had good reason to not follow the rule or pardoned them because it was a first case without other misdemeanours)
      I think what he does is very noble. In my country, a ticket is a ticket and you can’t argue it. If you try, the cost outweighs the effort and the money to amend it.

      100%. I was in court once and saw the game warden advocating on behalf of the guy he busted because they both went through the state regulations and the actual laws and found a discrepancy between them that accounted for the dudes mistake. The judge said she had to apply the law and told the game warden to bring the matter up with his superiors to get the discrepancy resolved. Like really?! You get a fishing license and they give you a rule book and then they’re still like ignorance of the law is no excuse like cmon that’s the state’s fault through and through they’re basically giving you legal advice when they provide you with the regulations. Wish more judges could be like this guy.

      For Frank Caprio and his condition at this time. Please herbal remedies not toxic chemo.
      Vegetable smoothies with added Organic Lions mane, Moringa, Dandelion root & each morning drink Soursop Tea. Now research the Benefits of each. For your tribulation at hand you will HEAL never to look back at this time.
      Frank you are a very good man in your heart.
      I wish you the fastest heals with Gods hands.
