Aimee Whelan: Matt has never slagged off Simon. And he has never been anything but complimentary about the show. Matt has also just released his 2nd top ten album in a year. So Matt is very much around. And since he is no longer on Simon's label, he was not asked to perform on the show. Matt is a genuine artist who writes his own music as well as plays instruments, sings without auto tune, and sings live without miming. Matt has his music used in movie soundtracks, and is very well respected.,

What really disappointed me in XTRA Factor is we hardly saw the contestants. Just a little glimpse here and there,except when they got eliminated(or won,for Matt :D) It was all about the judges and their quarrels.

it is i think they were bettter off not winning because matt is nowhere to be seen the winner hes banned from xf slagged off simon and 1D are worldwide stars because they didnt win
Honestly, I think 1D would have been worldwide stars either way. Whether they won or not. They just didn't need to win. By the final they were pretty much set to at least be huge in the UK. Nobody, not even them knew for sure that they would make it worldwide then, though many actually did predict it. They did make it though, and are still worldwide stars even as individual acts.
