I've always really enjoyed railjack, especially with friends. For me it's way more interesting way to open relics, maybe because I absolutely love combat and different roles you have to manage. Basically reminds me of sea of thieves

Favorite mode, really I wouldn't play this game anymore without railjack.
Especially in corpus missions, having a railjack "intro" to a mission makes it much more fresh.
Edit: Some tips.
- When starting the mission, your first thing is even before steering the ship, is using the multiple explosives (shatter burst?) ability.
Shoot it and immediately detonate it. Your reward is up to 4000 titanium.
If you see red mines, also destroy them the same way.
- Don't worry about the ship, it's basically indestructible. If you have an AI repair guy, you're basically have automatic repairing.
-This might be old info, but if a ship doesn't die instantly from the super cannon, you want to apply some puncture statuses first. The ship will receive more damage.
- If you're in solo, DON'T DIE. I don't know if this is fixed or not, but there's a bug that doesn't let you revive and fails the mission.
- Finally, a funny thing. You can actually fight normal ships efficiently with archguns. I have a Velocitus with a pretty good build and a sick riven (+fire dmg, +crit dmg), and I can instakill fighters with it, and also immobilize(not destroy) crewships with it in 1 shot.

I'd say Railjack is less buggy than most of Warframe now. Never had a single issue since all of the fixes. And I love it now. Railjack is also a good way of leveling when you're really bored of sanctuary.

Maaan i love railjack.
But matchmaking and the "join any crew" option available FOR ANYONE destroys the mode when you don't have anybody to play with.
Solo takes way too long, and there aren't many railjack enjoyers out there so...
I don't play it as much as i'd like to.

The number 1 thing I hate. Trying to leave the squad when they vote to stay. Why is extracting such a stressful thing in RJ. I have tried all the methods I found in forums and it's not foolproof. I still have occasions where I extract and I have 0 rewards. Yes. I have checked and confirmed it because I know sometimes it says "Mission Failed" and you still get your rewards. It got so bad, I started clipping my extractions.
This is why I mention to always play RJ with premades 🗿

I don't like ralijack because it is very buggy for me still. Sometimes when I load into the mission my entire interface disappears. Sometimes when I use boost and screen is shaking cinematically, it never stops shaking. Even If I stop piloting railjack, even if I try to switch to archwing, even if igo inside of the enemy ship as a warframe; it shakes like crazy. I now that there is a setting to turn it off but sadly sometimes it does not work. Some screen shakes are hardcoded or something and that setting does not remove those.

Yeah honestly the first thing I did was remove screen shake, couldn't imagine doing eidolon with it, it is literally unplayable.

I started playing Warframe less than a year ago and I was surprised to see how many people hated railjack. I really don't get it.
If there's one complaint for me is the underwhelming mission rewards considering that they're significantly longer than usual.
But to me, this is how I envisioned a ship mechanic and battle in Warframe. The controls are intuitive and it's quite challenging specially at the beginning.
I actually love it.

All the Veil Proxima nodes and Voidstorms are the opposite of unprofitable.
Get one friend who knows what to do (i know that's a tough ask) and you can clear those out in 5-10 on average. The rewards are going insane that way!

5 months late. But rail jack is hated because it’s required. Don’t require something on par with onclave and people won’t hate it.

How does it compare with Lavos as a Captain instead?
I haven't tried lavos yet, no harm with trying it out tho 💪
He gets a cooldown instead, so personally I think frames with regen (Harrow, Garuda, etc) are better options
@@leavemebevidsarecrappy9039 Styanax falls in that latter category as well, Rally Point regens very fast with Nourish up even if you don't have enemies to kill and lasts about as long as the buff from Thurible.
Still when you have that energy you can use it, lavos can only use teh ability once and it's over for like 10 seconds on seeker volley@@jchampagne2
