  • Riding to Owensville, Ohio on my XT250. I made a few mistakes along the way, which I highlight. We'll also be near Goshen, where a F2 tornado will wreak havok just three days after this video was shot.

I Downshifted to neutral while hitting a slight dip going over a water puddle because my toes tap the shifter by accident. (Dead in the water and the ride home was with wet feet, lol)
    Edited:Thanks for sharing BTW.

It bugs me as well when someone tails me. I usually will slow and wave them past me. I like to go slow and look around mostly and also enjoy the exact same time of day as you to ride. At least your self analyzing your errors. Good way to remember them I think. Going slow 🐌 saved me from an accident the other day when an a-hole unleashed dog bound out in front of me then proceeded the chase me. I had slowed enough to be in complete control fortunately. Always an adventure. Thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks for the comment. Even if I can get out in front of a car easily, I usually wait for them to drive by. I'd rather be behind them on a two-lane road. I worry about dogs and other large animals alot, especially in heavily wooded areas. Recentlly I set out with my camera turned off to save disk space and three baby foxes ran across the road way in front of me, and stared back at me as I slowly drove by. I wish the camera was turned on.

@@xt250rides8 Same here. I like lots of space in all directions. I think with all the land clearing going on everywhere animals will always be a danger. Cool you saw some 🦊🦊🦊

I've been around those parts. How close are you to route 125 and 32?

I'm further north between Milford and Loveland. I haven't made it down to 32 or the Batavia area yet, but have considered it. It's funny how close these areas are by car, but seem to be far away by motorcycle!
