Hi story to tell, I have a question. In the myth of Adonis, is the relationship between Adonis and Persephone that of mother and son? Is there any version of the myth of Adonis where it is mentioned that the relationship between Persephone and Adonis was only between mother and son, if so, who wrote it or where was it found? mentions?
As for the legends, Adonis was raised by Persephone in the underworld. This initial relationship was maternal in nature. After he grew up, according to the satirical author Lucian of Samosata, Eros made Persephone fall in love with Adonis. In this account, Aphrodite complains that 'Eros made Persephone fall in love with her own beloved, and now she has to share Adonis with her.' So, I guess it's reasonable to say Persephone saw Adonis as her son until Eros intervened.😊
