So he made Sonic sink into water rather than swim but in fact Hedgehog do actually swim. And they're pretty good swimmers as well. So cuz from it, Sonic has been implemented with that ever since cuz of a lil mistake he made. He also made the anxious endosing sounds as well when Sonic is runnin low on air.... which is also my alarm :3

12:16 It's crazy to me because here in the Netherlands it's basically not even legal to not be able to swim. And like 90% of deaths from Drowning are foreigners. Even though often even if they have their "Swimming Diploma/Certificate" or at least the bare minimum one. They just end up following their Dutch friends who might do stupid things like swimming in a place with ships, but obviously in dangerous situations the person with the least experience is usually the unlucky one and will be drowned by things like undertow and just generally things you kinda "have to know about" and even then they are dangerous. But yeah considering over here it's normal to go through quite a lot of swimming from a young age (including with clothes, diving, etc.) it's pretty weird to think that people who can't swim exist, because around here that's pretty much never the case unless it looks like they physically can't swim for some reason. Obviously you do "forget" certain things a little, I'm sure I was better at diving when I was a kid. But because you learn it from such a young age, you absolutely never forget the basics. Same goes for cycling and why nobody here wears a helmet (apart from sports) compared to Germany where everybody does, but that's less of a "vital survival skill" than swimming is. Teaching adults that come here is next to impossible, they often just refuse or don't want to and even if they do it's an adult, they just don't learn the same. And kids obviously pick it up better although often they are already a lot older relatively and so missed out on a lot of swimming and experience, and tend to get overconfident because they "can swim." Just because you can swim doesn't mean you should follow the example of some dumb Dutch kids, who are swimming somewhere they shouldn't. Because if something goes wrong, they are probably gonna get lucky and get away and you'll be the one screwed over. They often do things they obviously shouldn't be doing in the first place, but if you don't have the kind of experience with swimming the average Dutch person has let alone only "just learned" to swim *you defenitly shouldn't.* Especially if you are only used to pools and "fake" water, rivers, sea and canals are a completely different story.
