Although people say fight fire with fire what I believe is fight fire with water meaning if you someone is doing something mean don't do it back, that causes more problems, tell them or ask them why they said that or in this case FIRST ASK HER WHAT SHE MEANT instead of calling her Dalmatian ( which isn't even true and you know that, she looks beautiful ). But anyways hopefully you now understand the proper way to handle a situation.

it's actually easy to just do one pass since he's using the brush it separates the hair so it gets all the strands and he also blow-dry his hair prior.

Bee Murigi it's been long all my life but never grew past my armpit. It was growing but kept breaking off. I was using heat on my hair every day. Never knew how bad that was. Once I stopped doing that it really started growing. That and protein treatments. So I would say little to no heat is the biggest benefit I've learned. Are you relaxed?
Leggs Nope, mine isn't relaxed. I avoid heat at all costs and my coils, not curls are a tight 4c. I keep it in braids or cornrows most of the time as I try to avoid a lot of manipulation to it and I also use wild growth oil, shea butter and hair mayonnaise but I can't seem to get it any longer. I just might try protein treatments now that you've mentioned it.

I love how people of color have that natural black hair with blue highlights. Your hair came out great! I tried to do my hair that color but after a few washings, it turned back to brown with red highlights. Now I'm losing my hair color and tired of dying so I just let it be whatever it is. People can only be so judgmental to the point it makes them look stupid while insulting cultures in Africa where men take pride in their hair like Masaai men. What is so feminine about hair? In South Sudan, the women where a beaded necklace that falls to their stomachs while the Dinka men where these elaborate corsets. Why do people suddenly judge a guy for being who he is? Who created these labels? It makes it seem being creative and clean is bad which then leads to questioning if one is gay or not. Stop the stigma. It's disgusting. Not everyone has that alpha look just like them DR Congo men. Then you have Kikuyu men using paint to make their faces and bodies into art works, Fulani men with paint on their face aka make up with different hairdos, etc. Why do you get so mad? Men just like women wear their hair in different styles and take care of them too. Y'all talk about wanting to push the culture forward but not realizing you are only dragging it down. You got to accept all what AFRICA has produced. If you did, maybe people wouldn't feel pressured and think they are gay. Simple as that. I just posted my straightening routine; I tried it without using a blowdryer or heat protectant and it came it better than it has before, but now I think I realize the real problem. If I ever saw a black man in the street with that much beautiful, curly hair I would freak out and probably try and take a picture. It just looks so majestic and beautiful, especially since most dudes have never used relaxers or perms so it's ALWAYS been natural. This is what I aspire to have one day. : )
