You guys are geniuses! Not going to lie resign kind of scares me (I've never used anything like it), but that fears worth getting over to make custom acrylic stands!
You said you printed the artwork on printable projector paper? How did you do that? Did you just put that clear paper in a regular printer? And what resin did you use? How do you make the stand detachable?
Yes we used clear sheets that you can print on with an inkjet printer. We used simple two component resin you can buy almost everywhere online. Just google it. You can see how we made the stands in the video. We put the dried piece with picture in to the base while still wet and let it dry together. You Just need to make sure your artwork Pieve doesn't move while the base is drying.
If you completely enclose your sticker with the resin it should work absolutely fine since the resin will stick to itself. Usually the biggest problem is when the resin seeps through the material you use for your picture like with paper when its not correctly sealed then it will turn out ugly. I haven't tried vinyl stickers but I think you should be fine..but maybe do a test run first before you ruin your sticker just to be sure.
Yeah that is not easy. They were not high res at all. I used Photoshop to edit the pictures so that the bad quality is not too noticeable. What you could try is use an AI tool to upscale a low res picture so that you get something you can work with. I am not 100% sure but I think that capcut has a Feature like that in their Web application which could be available in the free Version...
You need to make sure you close every little hole crevice or else the resin will leak through. We have used this method a couple of times now but with hot glue on OHP Sheets and it works perfectly.

This is extraordinarily clever! Thanks for sharing your process :)

Thank you! That was our first time using resin. It took us a couple of tries but it was very satisfying to see the final result.

That's a really cool idea
Thank you!
Very Very Nice....
Wow , I will do Kakashi follow by your video ❤😮

@ Thank you! As for the base question I actually meant to ask about how to make it detachable rather than sealed to the base. Any advice?
No not really we first tried leaving a whole in the base, but that didn't really work for us.
Would laminated paper work too??
Thank you so much 😭😭💖💕🇲🇽
Omg this is brilliant where can i buy all these tools?
You can get everything on amazon or in local crafting Shops or Hardware stores.
Which printer are you using?
A simple ink jet printer set to high gloss paper
Hello again.. I wanted to ask if i could use vinyl sticker for casting the picture in the resin liquid?... Will it stick to it?

@@KyokoSaphira thank you so much❤
Which sheet did u used?
We used Overheadprojector Sheets =)
@@KyokoSaphira excuse me, can i please know again, was it silicon glue u used or😭, where can we get it?
We used normal hot glue and Vaseline. You can also use Silicon if you want then you don't need Vaseline because the resin doesn't stick to silicon.

Hi do you do some character about manhwa
May I ask where you found such high resolution photos in order to make the standees? I’m having trouble finding good quality images.

What paper did u used
Seems legit. I don’t suppose one could laser cut some acrylic and then somehow paste on the image to it from behind?
I don't know, we don't own a laser cutter.
Do you guys take custom orders?😭
I am sorry we don't. You could try following the tutorial it takes a bit of practice but is not difficult at all.
For the character
I tried it but i dont know why my resin leaked from the silicone even though i did four layers :(

Do you sell them on Aliexpress??
No we don't.
@@KyokoSaphira that’s sad TT
Me and my ego tells me I can do 30cm tall ado stand by myself
What did u use to make the mold
Everything is explained in the video 😉 Hot glue for the mold and Overheadprojector sheets for the pictures and as surface for the molds and casting.
Hey ima give u a warning if u do it on a ipad u might pull of the screen

Why would you ever do resin casting on an ipad? 😵
