Douglas did what he had to do, unlike Flo, Shauna, Zoe, Xander, and you, Thomas. You just had to run Emma off the road to forever shut her up and keep the truth about Beth from Hope and Liam.
This should be a reminder why Hope doesn't just give Douglas back to Thomas full time in the new episodes. Haters act like she's keeping Douglas from Thomas on purpose in the new episodes. Feel bad for Douglas.
This. 100%. Twitter is irrational about this. He has changed for the most part *now* but during/after that period he should not have even had partial custody of that child for a long time. (And he did another round of emotional abuse on that kid several months after this). Ridge was so extra problematic during this time, also - what he was doing was equivalent to blaming a victim of abuse and/or pushing them to stay in an abusive relationship. I say all of this as someone who 100% enjoys Thope *now*.
