Question (I'm just getting into the channel): How do you track your trades - do u find it necessary to 'do' anything outside of the brokerage platform? by 'do' i could mean keep a personal log of transactions, playing around with any ROI figures you hope to be targeting etc etc. BTW I'm liking the vids I've seen, actually insightful and not just milking the watch-time like so many others!
Welcome back sir, Why its so hard to get IRON Conder filled and sell as well. If possible can you make video about how to place and fill order in TS. How to use "Risk profile" in TD to determine where to buy and where to sell?
Opening positions understood, BUT .. how to close them when in strategies? In what order to close the 4 option types in a "condor", so that when fill is hard not to lose much ? In what chronology ? 1st close short options ?
I am having a really difficult time getting iron butterfly options to fill. I’m using SPY and QQQ. High volume, open interest and tight bid-ask spread? I’m even kicking up the bid a few bucks. Not sure what to think. Any thoughts? I appreciate it

I'm not sure what his reasoning was. Typically, more components in an option position makes it harder to get fills. I'd have to hear the clip of him explaining it. I didn't use a spread with TSLA because I want uncapped protection to the downside. A spread only gives me partial protection. A long put gives me full protection on the shares owned.

What do you suggest for closing a Debit Spread? I have 14 Contracts with an average price of 0.1975 with 2 weeks until expiration. The mid point has varied from .35 to .20. I set a limit order to sell at .25 (for 20% gain) and eventho the mid price is .30, it does not get filled (Using RH). I just opened a Tastyworks account. I dont mind paying the commission per leg if I get filled and not grow old here waiting on RH.

Now it is value over $300 and it traded below $46 back then. My question is how is the capital gains is going to be figured it out if I sell the 290 shares? This year 2021.
I always split the difference, so halfway between the midpoint and the bid, or halfway between the midpoint and ask depending on if you're buying or selling.

I've learned first hand, I lost $10k in a papa john stock option, eve though I was right, there was not enough volatility in that stock and option. You need price volatility, and the best for that is tech. AAPL, GOOGLE, TSLA, NVDA, AMD, MSFT, META, Walmart, and SPY.. But options are pricey in tech. Even trade the 1.5x like tsll.. get in and get out fast.. Dont be greedy, I'll take 20% everyday if it was offered

when selling position, would it not be wise to sell the contract base on the current price and not on the bid/ask prices?

Tom Sosnoff said that vertical spreads help with fills. Do you agree and why didn’t you use it with TSLA puts ?
