This was quite fun to see in a video, must be fantastic to see in person. There's a rather comical sight at 6:00, where if you stare at the tractor's eyes and grill it looks like it's making a crazy face. EDIT: The sheer scope of the fair attractions towards the end of the video is ridiculous. So many rides and things to see and do. I was most impressed by the vintage ones and various steam-powered attractions. Super cool!
Hi Syd never been to the Dorset rally and I keep on promising myself and the Mrs of course,have done the rounds In Yorkshire over the years.It's a absolute must ,and this video of yours must be ranking high up in the top ten its BRILLIANT.
Many thanks for your compliment. Yorkshire is a fair old drive to Dorset but I assure you, you will be glad you did it. If you camp in any way, it's worth booking for 3 or 4 days and stay on the site. It's a fantastic mini holiday.

I thought the dancers looked and danced just fine. They are probably the daughters and or girlfriends of guys who look back to these times and once great machines. They are not the rich, star dancers, but many of those could care less about this good old stuff and simpler life.
+Syd Hutchinson The videos are from a bit of a hobby on the weekends but need to get back to the UK for more of these steam rallies , had a look at the Kingsfold rallie a coupla years ago while touring about the UK.
The little stationary engines about four minutes in...I could watch those for hours, I find them hypnotic.
Sorry I did not do more video but there is so much going on. I could easily make a film 4 hours long.
