hey, the double hull furniture's effect isnt being used while beam supports is present. furnitures paired with ship's intrinsic abilities do stack (i.e. thr brigantine's bullhorn & iron clad hull [45% ram damage from bullhorn & 25% ram damage from iron clad]), but furnitures do not stack. the game takes which ever one gives more - so while the spirits locker also gives 7% added armour, it negates a partial of the beam supports armour ability, but because beam support gives 7% hull health, it negates doubleplancked. just want to get this info out there so people can free up furniture pieces and utilise them to their fullest potentials. beam supports has allowed me to free up space on anything that was using the compangie screens and spirit locker combo to just one slot. you lose the brace support, but that can be found elsewhere; sorta. so just remember: ship's intrinsic abilities + furniture = good but, two furnitures that give same/similar buffs and effects at the same time =/= an increased percentage. the sambuk's firebug ability increases reload by 25%. so, bombard menuiserie and shell packing station are good. they Do add their 7% percents to the sambuk's buff. however, something like the lestari trophy (7% acceleration) balanced mast (8% acceleration), and lightened mast (13% acceleration), if you equipped all of these, it would only see the lightened mast's 13% increase and negate the rest - unfortunately we cant get a 28% acceleration increase; but that would be cool. hope this helps

@@d3athwish, though i will say that since hp numbers dont appear when we take damage, having to figure that a fraction of a percent less damage from any given source is hard af to detect/decipher. since you have more pvp orientated people than i do to experiment with - that might be worth testing. but, for damage output, and damage buffs, (speed buffs, range & radius buffs) it was easier to calculate and figure what works, and what doesnt
Like our conversation below, if you want to add survivability, add in the healing spring loader and sit in it (try to keep the center behind your ship in comparison to an enemy so it is less likely to get shot.

Bp reduces damage to half and the braced gunwhales should half that again to 25% while the 15% of iron capstan should bring that down to roundabout 22% of original damage. but what actually happens is that the 50% reduction of gunwhales is ADDED to the 50% of black prince and the 15% of iron capstan making you take no damage at all, for it's 115% reduced while anchored. so if you are anchored not going up against a flood specialized build that can outsevere your repair healing perk, this ship is immortal as long as you do not go up against guns that can instantly deal 68% of your health as damage (which can only happen on overleveled forts).
All small ships should have 3 top gun ports like Sloop, feels quite limited having only 2 on broadsides, feels like we are meant to preffer medium ships instead of small ones. Idc small ships are a bit slower as it should, I want to be able use them as well as Sloop in PvE not just PvP
It follows the idea of the shield vs. the spear. In the end, the shield wins against the spears' awesome damage over time. Bedar might be worth trying if you want a small target that hammers enemies.
It’s not a bad build your hardy bracing so it’s good. What happens if I put it on another ship like that big on like the junk ship? Do you think that will work? 🤷♂️🙂

I actually used this earlier and it was brilliant but in the group fight it would of been pointless unfortunately amigo

Imagine how well this would have been demonstrated with someone that can hit a target further than 300m away.
It would also be pretty cool to see your anchor ⚓️ attached to the side of your ship

They need to do something to make the hunting way better.... it sucks that theres sharks out in the open waters and i cant go after them right there!

I played this game since it came out got 2 lvl 11 then quit for the longest then just got started playing season 3 and I'm lost on what's going on
Did they fixed the main quest on pc ? Where u need to dig up a treasure map and the beam just disapears when u are next to it.
Just relog and try again, did it a week ago. And yes, I play on PC only
Turn off "Multi-platform" option for that mission.

You forget the 50% small ship buff@@supremeboy so its effectively having 3 top Deck as barque and If you use Demis its 7,5 vs 6 guns
