  • Join me on an unforgettable journey as we say goodbye to Merseyrail’s iconic Class 507 trains. After 46 years of service across the Liverpool city region, these legendary electric multiple units (EMUs), introduced in 1978, are heading into retirement. In this video, I explore various stations and sidings across the network, capture the train departing and returning on different tracks, and take you through a walkthrough of the train's coaches.
This special farewell tour, known as The Wirral Swan Song, offers a last chance for rail enthusiasts and regular passengers alike to experience the Class 507 in action before they’re replaced by the modern Class 777 fleet. The tour raises money for important local charities including Centre 56, Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary, Blackburne House, and Parkinson's Wirral.
Hop on board and join me for this nostalgic ride as we celebrate the end of an era on the Merseyrail network!
