When they were filling tankers, that's the first time that I can recall dry-break couplings used in the fire service. Looks like for that operation, it does work!

@@ronaldrobertson2332 It is an excellent way to speed up 2.5" and 3" connections when doing tanker shuttles. I'd highly recommend adding a few cam-lock adapters to your rigs. They also allow you to easily adapt to unusual water sources. Many of our local farmers have 2 to 5 thousand gallon water trailers spread around their farms. They've come in handy on several occasions.

@@jaymesc.moreland9265 I'd love to follow up on that, but I've been "retired" from the volunteer fire service since 2004 when my health took me out of action. But I still like to follow up on things, how it's still being done and such. Old fire dog, I guess.
I miss it badly.
