It is indisputably harkening to Vogueing in the gay community and when the back-up dancers enter the scene (especially the end where they hit their crouches and lying down like slaves) it is so very, very homoerotic. But this is fabulous choreography, a terrific dance song, and the style is killing it, even 10 + years later. One of my fave K-Pop vids.

You can see him on Shinhwa's Sniper MV in 2015, Hyesung's Roco Drama MV, Minwoo's Taxi MV, Junjin's WowWowWow MV, he still a dancer also help Minwoo with the choreo, and the dance concept.. The last time I saw him in MV is in Shinhwa's Touch MV 2017.. And HE FREAKING WON BEST CHOREOGRAPHER IN MAMA 2017 for making choreo for Seventeen's Don't Wanna Cry, also Wanna One's Energetic ! We all should give him compliment for work hard even when he is underrated dancer for years 🖒

I've seen many K-pop juniors perform this song on stage, but nothing beats the original. Shinhwa excels at expressing femininity in this song.
its depressing how many people ignore Shinhwa because theyre "old". like do you realize that theyre one of the most legendary kpop groups there are? even if you dont love them or their music, at least respect them. theyve been doing this for almost 20 years now. it may seem impossible, but being an idol was almost harder back then. kpop wasnt as popular. it was so difficult to get recognition. but shinhwa worked their asses off to make it. i promise you all of your faves look up to them. you dont have to love them, but respect the fact that theyre legendary and earned it.

I came once, years ago, when I was ignorant and I mocked the dance in order to praise BTS, stating that they (BTS) were more manly; and now, a lot more matured, I came back to this iconic bop to say that no group could master and own this choreography like Shinhwa does.

Of all the male groups in kpop, Shinhwa is pretty much the only one I like, probably because of their maturity in contrast to the cute boy groups.

to all the people who think this is gay,its not, what they're doing is called VOGUE DANCE,inspired by the magazine VOGUE,and made popular by madonna thru her song "vogue",you can watch clips of several dance group doing vogue you will see that this is really how its done.....

The "VOGUE" touch to the dance makes this in my eyes a very stylistic dance... I think it's impressive how well they execute each move with such precision.

No matter how much time passes, shinhwa for me will always be one of the best old kpop groups, because of their unique and perfect songs and choreography. I wish many people would like to dive deeper into what kpop was like a few years ago.

Yes, 1998. They're the longest-running boy band in the history of K-pop.
They still aren't well known by international k-pop fans though, probably because they went on hiatus during the heyday of Hallyu Wave (2008-2012). This 4 years hiatus was only for the 6 members to do their mandatory military service.

I'm an SNK fan myself but saying things like "oh the SNK cosplayers are so much hotter" is honestly really disrespectful.
