@@greta5419 Twisted corners are something that you have moved. For example, if a yellow piece in a corner is facing you, and if you move it , then the yellow piece in the corner will not be facing you anymore.
After learning this method, I'm actually interested to know how they are solved quicker. This is a good way to learn but is obviously quite slow. Every scramble can be solved in 20 moves or less, and here you'll be making 36 moves in the final step alone in the best case scenario where each corner only needs one execution of 8 moves to get into the correct orientation + 4 additional turns. With so many moves, it can be quite error prone, so the less moves you make, the less chance you have of making a mistake. So how do you go from this to solving it in around 20 moves? At least in theory, a 20-ish move solve should be easier?
This introductory tutorial may not be the most efficient, but it offers shorter algorithms and covers about 5 of them, making it a solid starting point. The majority of speedcubers utilize the CFOP method: C for Cross, F for First Two Layers, O for Orient Last Layer, and P for Permute Last Layer. Advanced CFOP solves can range from 35 to 80 moves in length, executed with incredible speed. Another official speedcubing event is Fewest Move Count (FMC), where competitors aim to solve a specific scramble using the fewest moves possible. Unlike speed-focused events, FMC allows up to an hour for participants to strategize and find the optimal solution. Welcome to the rabbit hole of speedcubing!
