Fair trade for now. Too much uncertainty. My gut on all players; I would be surprised if Paredes made another all-star team. I think there is regression coming. That said, I think he can be slightly above average at the position. Morel has a lot of upside, with elite bat speed. He also K's a lot and his defense is kind of terrible, even if it shouldn't be. I think it's likely that Bigge becomes a terrific late-inning reliever. Ty Johnson is too far away, and for me he's RP only (but could be a good one). If I thought Paredes could continue his 2023 and 2024 production, I'd say the Cubs did well and get a A- on the deal. If he regresses and Bigge blossoms I'd give a clear edge to the Rays.
This is a huge win for the cubs. Guy hit 31 homers last year, can play 3B and was an all star this year. Morel is all potential who has shown very little production. The guy is also cost controlled.
Do you think the Rays or Cubs won this trade?
Can you do a video with the Jason Adam deal to San Diego?
Rays won

This is the beat trade ever for the Cubbies
As a Issac Paredes fan i wish my Tigers kept him instead of trading him for Austin Meadows before the 2022 season 💀
Morel and two prospects is illegal for Isaac
So that’s good or bad
Why are you saying they are heading back? When they haven’t played for the rays before…
Heading back is commonly used to refer to the return for a deal
This is a Aplus trade
Man rays been fleecing mfs 😂😂😂
Not sure they fleece this trade, bro. Morrell sucks.
Moral was a burden like Javy
Ill take Paredes
