Are you guys using deco. I use deco x20 . I bought a 4 pack(3 first' then i had a dead area i bought one more as I had invested a lot of money in it already) but i wasn't getting a good range. Now I turned off 5ghz . Now it's good that switching from one mesh next isn't as fast as i thought. As x20 is wifi 6. It can deliver 125mbps(my internet speed ) but the response rate 5ghz was (reaction for click) faster than 2.4 which i lack now. If i turn on both 5ghz and 2.4ghz I don't get the nuf range. As it works like 5ghz.
We use two deco M3... All wire connected as mesh. No issue in switching the deco networks as both work as a single unit. But the main modem has a separate network.
@@backtohome i had set access point mode as router mode with different network was causing issues in casting and all ..also some iot device where connected via zigbee and all . Yeah i too connected using wire. I think the x20(wifi 6 version has a low range) . I had asked one other person who works in there service centre they're saying that high end models are not designed for Indian consumers so it can't penetrate our thicker walls and pillars especially if we have a lot of cupboards. I had set 2 in the bedroom one in the living room and one in the kitchen and. Still i have a few dead spots even with 2.4ghz only mode. I couldn't use it without an ethernet backhaul . My maximum reach is the same room plus a room . Highly disappointed. I used the wifi 5 varient of tplink with 6 antennas I don't remember model (some gamer series) in the old house. That single router was capable of covering the whole house. Anyway after spending 25k i understood it wasn't worth my old 11k router even
