sdsu is my #1 and I’m waiting for admission decisions and really hope I get in!! I want to rush bcs I love how sororities give you such an easy way to make great friends (and honestly parties too lol:) ) any rush tips ?? I know it’s pretty competitive to get into a sorority at sdsu so I just want to be ready :)

I’m in the exact same predicament, but just keep applying for SDSU and external scholarships and keep faith that you will win them. Don’t give up, if it’s something you truly want keep pushing for it regardless of the price tag.

Katelyn Catabay dude same!! i'm out of state but what i have been doing is donating clothes, selling things i don't use to get some money. also for scholarships, ask around your high school and apply to tons online! i really hope you do end up going & hopefully i see you there! try not to feel discouraged you got this ( cappex offers SO MUCH and fastweb helps you out too!!)
Do you think it’s relatively easy to avoid the party, drinking, and tailgating type scene at SDSU? I got accepted to SDSU last month and I’ve already looked at schools that are similar to SDSU in terms of the party scene like CU Boulder (I’m in Colorado) and I don’t want to do that stuff. Also, I’ve been looking at videos like this about SDSU and this one finally gave me some honest details so thank you for doing that!

Do you know which "residential learning communities" live where? SDSU says that you can choose a learning community to dorm with (ie. health and healing professions, nursing, pride house) and I've heard that the pride house lives in Zura, but do you know about the health and healing professions?

The one thing I miss about SDSU is playing COD : MW2 after class. I wonder if those 8-10 yr old kids I talked shit to back in 2009 are now in college at SDSU.
If you don’t get in straight out of high school, you could always go to community college for 2 years and then transfer into SDSU which may be easier to get in since you’re not a freshman in need of lots of General Ed classes which are always packed.

You can easily avoid the party scene, no one will force you to drink or party if you don’t want to.

Easy. The Greek system at SDSU is represented by about 10% of the student population. They make a lot of social noise which makes it seem like 50%.

there is a trolley that runs straight from campus to Pacific Beach where you can get on a bus that takes u to the beach! :)
