I've been playing Citrine almost exclusively for the past few weeks and I absolutely adore her. She's so chill, melts her way through steel path while being the tankiest frame I've ever played. I'm playing a heat build, archon vitality with a good heat primer lets her rack up a silly amount of stacks very quickly. Interestingly I hardly ever cast her 1, mainly because I do also find her cast speeds painfully slow; her crystal seems to melt everything anyway. I got fed up with how clunky crystallize felt and helminth'd it off for Pillage, which feels pretty great. I highly recommend running archon continuity as it basically lets her crystal apply 5 status effects and not just 4. I also consider Duplex Bond on her companion a must-have; I'm not sure if the clones apply to the number of beams the crystal fires, but they can certainly trigger it when they shoot at stuff.
A tip for Citrine: ANY weapon shot trigger the beams, so Kahl squad,crew members and nautilus with duplex bond trigger the beams with 100% Precision, making Citrine the perfect Commander of a army that delete anything in SP, you can just afk in defence and survival missions just pressing 3 and refreshing kahl squad
After three days of waiting my Citrine warframe is finally done cooking. I've put together the "Beginner Build" and have been having much fun getting her to max level and learning her abilities. I did not hear you mention her weapons in this guide. As I am currently MR7, do you have suggestions on weapons a newbie should use? Thank you for the guide.
I love Tharros Strike with Molt Reconstruct on Citrine, it makes her a super tank. Archon Flow, Archon Continuity, Archon Vitality, Archon Stretch with rolling guard makes it super fun to play. Equilibrium is a must! And Brief Respite also helps. Give it a try, it will males you smile once you reached lvl cap with this build
Btw not to hate on Wisp but I loved Trinity and when Wisp came people wld shit all over Trinity. So, Citrine all four of her abilities support not selfish, energy health, damage reduction, status increase, crit increase and....Citrine does NOT hurt fissure missions. Wisp her motes give firerate, health, speed, cc in one ability her teleport is for her only, her blind does help team n her 4 is selfish. So only 2/4 really help ur team. Also, in low level missions Wisp electric cc is very annoying killing enemies before they become corrupted making it hard to farm reactant very anti-team and anti synergy there.
People shit over trinity because of the skill gap she is like combining every buffing frame in the game then injecting her with every steroid known to man but her skill gap is not a pick up and play its a crap i gotta spend 10hrs to understand just use cases on a single build best frame in the game but would not reccomend to someone ever

For the 1st build with roar. You are not using your 4 so what the point of removing 2 and reducing survivability? Not the best at shield gating. I prefer raw damage reduction.
I recommend just getting a Panzer vulpaphyla since her 1 can pop the viral cyst so it can spread viral very fast if you have a large group, grouping abilities are not necessary but very useful.
Yea they aren't super great on her Archon intensify - her passive heal doesn't proc it sadly Archon Flow - Her cold isn't really strong enough to kill most of the time Archon Stretch - This can proc easily but she already has infinite energy Archon Vitality - This can maybe be useful with heat inherit, but its super inconsistent because your crystal stays active for long so it'll proc weak heat to most enemies unless you use nothing else but her crystal until you prime, overall wouldn't recommend it Archon Continuity - This is probably the most useful and can be a decent armor strip tool with 2 green shards

Very good, sounds like a fun build to play. To help, just need to bind the 1 key from keyboard to mouse 4 to be less tiresome for long plays.
