I met an Izaya and Shizuo cosplayer at Wal-Mart around the time I got into Durarara!! I had long, darker hair then and was sort is unintentionally cosplaying Erika. I squealed and got hugs and turned out the two guys went to my school. We've been good friends since. （〜^∇^)〜

If ever i were to see someone cosplaying Izaya in a public place, I don't know if i could stop myself from screaming IZAAAYAAAAAA at the top of my lungs, and running at them full-tilt.
did you make the helmet? if so how? or did you buy it? because i really want to cosplay Celty but i dont want to end buying a really crappy helmet if its to hard to make.

Funny thing is this is normal to do at Walmart. All anime fans should just have one huge day a year where they cosplay a character and all go to Walmart and walk around acting like their characters. It would be awesome to see how many anime fans everyone has in their area.
I go to stores in cosplay whenever the mood strikes me so it made me so happy to know I wasn't the only one who did this! lol I walked through my supermarket a few times dressed as Lelouch in school uniform with his cape and got a few interesting looks. lol I live in a small town where a lot of people aren't too interested in anime also, so I have to travel a few miles to get to the college towns where I know people do like to do this! lol Great cosplaying job guys! ^ -^
My Shizu-chan and I were planning on doing this. But at least we might slightly blend in. But Celty! That has some guts for sure! this is really amazing, and encourages me to go outside of the box and do something crazy!

Honestly, this ia an AWESOME Celty cosplay. You had the body language and the body, and in my opinion the height for it. On multiple occasions you are a great representation of what it would be like to see Celty in real life. Awesome job. The Izaya is decent as well, it's just that it's incredibly hard to Get Izaya's body language and facial expressions to a T. Good job though, I don't normally comment, but felt that the Celty cosplay and actor DEFINITELY required some recognition. :)
the only thing missing would be is shizuo coming out of no where and chasing them down and yelling "IIIIZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAYAAAAAAA-KUN!" but that's just me.
Hey I have a question - did the person dressed as Celty buy a helmet online and work it from there? And if so, where did they buy it? I'm trying to get a helmet small enough - so far they're way too big.
This is great! I would have laughed so hard if Shizuo had shown up and jumped Izaya though. I can only imagine the number of projectiles in a grocery store. I suppose that would count as disturbing the peace though ^_~
