    A cool different strategy to play. Although I'd either leave the pass line odds in place if 2 uncovered box numbers hit in a row, or maybe I would take the odds down when 2 uncovered box numbers hit in a row and then I would use the pass line odds to cover those uncovered numbers to not miss out on winning!

    Once the full belt across is established, just keep collecting. Pressing until point just keeps the risk building up until the 7 inevitably hits and that last roll had a lot of pressed $ that could have been profit.

      Hmm, I’ve thought about, but I think I’d rather let people make up their own minds. I’m a big believer in strategies fitting people based on there personality. For instance, I’m very conservative, so would tend to rate aggressive strategies poorly. But the fact is aggressive play is no worse or better than conservative play. Does that make sense?

    There is an old but true adage among those who would be considered successful dice players, Any strategy that doesn’t have money on the 6 and 8 when dice are moving is a faulty strategy. Said differently if the dice are moving, you should have money on the six and eight. Why you would place other numbers before those goes against the math of the game.

    Not sure I grok the purpose of the 2-3x odds on the pass for this system, other than just the typical “no house edge” logic - would just as soon single odds to limit risk and let the odds ride during the whole point and then make the odds one of the full press bets on a monster roll

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s an additional bet, so play the odds as you like.

  • @BobBrewster

    I thought people should never play double-odds, because the reward is better to make a Place Bet on that number instead. In this case, place the 4 & 10 (or even buy the 4 & 10) would pay better.
    So I think I would be tempted to bet 3x odds instead.

  • @adamgraham4198
    @adamgraham4198 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does buying a number pay better?

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  ปีที่แล้ว

      On the 4/10 yes, 5/9 only in rare situations {most casinos don't} if vig is on win only, (all electronic craps its better to buy 5/9) and never buy bet the 6/8 anywhere

  • @JoeFerber
    @JoeFerber 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I like this one a LOT, but as always, I have what I feel is a BETTER idea to IMPROVE upon this strategy!
    First, I would COLLECT FIRST any of those numbers - aside from your POINT number - that hit, and THEN I would cover all the other numbers for every 2nd hit of those numbers and any of the NEW numbers that you placed until you have ALL of the Place bet numbers placed. Then, I would collect FIRST then do a FULL press for every 2nd hit of ANY of those place bet numbers, and just keep doing that until I either make the point or seven-out.
    I would NOT KEEP PRESSING the numbers once they are all covered as he recommends until the point is hit!
    VERY BAD IDEA as evidenced here in this video on what could happen, and it did - a seven out - and NOT have collected that ADDITIONAL EXTRA money!!!
    Here is how I would place the odds bets:
    For the 4 and 10, I would just use SINGLE odds because those numbers pay double odds and are HARDER to hit!
    For the 5 and 9, I would use double odds, and for the 6 and 8, I would use TRIPLE odds.
    Also, I would NOT take the odds bet down even if 2 of those box numbers I DIDN'T have covered hit. However, IF my rolls for my shot for that point went BEYOND 8 rolls, then I would just REDUCE my odds to single odds for the point numbers of 5,6,8 and 9. For the 4 and 10, that is not relevant because we are only going to use single odds to begin with.

    No casino will adopt a game that gamblers can beat consistently. If that were the case, bye-bye dice. It's always a matter of timing. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Having a few options in your tool kit helps.

    Interesting strategy. But more than half the time the point isn't made, at least one or two craps or 11 hits, and one to three place bets hits. There's more than a 10% chance that seven out hits immediately. I would likely just play a no odds pass line with 6 and/or 8 as place bets and that's it. This is just to lose at a slower pace. I view having a pass line and more than three place bets at the same time as a suicide strategy in the long run.

    First of all - great video. I like that there isn't much statistical hope placed on the come bet. Likewise, between this video and the video where you only play the field, it does show that you can end in the green.
    However, where does roll count weigh in to your strategy?
    You showed a roll count average of 20 - I'm playing some of the online craps tables for practice and I'm lucky if I can roll 6 times before I hit 7s. Is that even normal or do you have hot tables at your studio?? Again, great video - the simulations are really helpful!

    The only time you'll find a roll like this is at 3am with the limo driver running $10 flat on the pass with a $12 6 & 8. He makes $187 and thinks he's king of the world. Playing against the 7 is playing the ultimate fool in a fools game.

    Terrible strategy, since 7 comes out after 5 or 6 rolls! Just go $260 or $270 across, if you hit 3-5 numbers, you win most or all your money back. And if you have a great roll; your in the money!

    • @jhf444
      @jhf444 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  ปีที่แล้ว

      The average roll lasts 8.5rolls with the the chance of a 7 showing 1 in 6 on each roll. So yes, many times rolls will only last 5-6 rolls.

    I thought 4 and 10 paid 2 to 1 on a 4 and 10 place bet, why did you pay yourself only 18?

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  ปีที่แล้ว

      2:1 is the true odds of rolling a 4 or 10 before the 7. A place bet pays a little less 9:5. You can do a buy bet and get paid 2:1 minus 5% of bet amount. And if you make a come bet, you can add an odds bet which gets paid true 2:1 odds.

      Usually when I throw out 20 on the 4 and 10 at the horseshoe in Tunica the dealer just assumes im buyin and pays out as a buy I rarely have to state that its a buy bet. I usually get paid $39 and dealer pays $40 and says "Drop me a dollar" which is that 5% tax. @@ColorUp
