MIchelle, I am from Slovakia, it means I have to learn every important language, even these days I am struggling with English yet. I am learning Japanese two years now. I've learned hiragana and katakana, but those kanjis are overkill. :)) They should limit it to 500. :)) After two years I am not able to write 1 complette sentence in Kanji. Okay, maybe: Ima nanji desu ka? :))
If it makes you feel any better, I’ve lived here all my adult life, and I still have so much trouble with kanji! I love typing on a computer or device. I am soooo bad at writing by hand. 😭
