MY have been taking care of Mynu from a friend who is a veterinarian for a while now. Mynu was injured and had to have a finger removed. I'm very sad about that. I'm here and make these videos so everyone can monitor the health situation of this little monkey, and more than that, I want to spread more love for animals to you. As I said in previous videos, I do these things out of love for Mynu and without any cruelty. Some comments say that Mynu must return to the natural environment. but you know what? With his injured hand and weak and small body, will he be able to survive in that environment? I don't want to see Mynu get shot again and especially I can't let Mynu suffer any more pain. I love Mynu very much. Today Mynu slept, he looked like he slept very well, but I found it a bit strange because Mynu slept so hard. I tried to wake up Mynu but Mynu was still sleeping even though I tried to call him back many times. I touched Mynu's body with my hand and was startled because his body was very hot. I touched it many times to confirm and yes, Mynu had a fever because of teething. First, I will wipe Mynu's body with warm water and try to comfort and encourage him, then I will find a way to help Mynu quickly reduce his fever. On another channel a little monkey had to have his arm removed from being caught in a trap. He also developed a fever after being home for a while. Even though the arm was healed he somehow developed an infection and did not survive. I do not think the infection is from teething. Don’t assume and have him checked out by a professional vet. I would immediately think it’s his finger causing fever and not teething.

It is probably his body working to to heal. If it looks like it's getting better under the bandages, and not getting more and more red and swollen, then his body is doing exactly what it should be doing. He's so small and his body is having to work extra hard to heal a pretty major wound so his immune system is working extra hard. He looks good in the more recent videos. You can tell if is health is declining. No need to worry though his body is doing exactly what it needs to do, it may have just been a little much at the time but I see it has passed. Make sure to mush up his soft fruits to make them a little easier to eat until he gets all his teeth 😊

By the way, I just looked it up, monkeys teeth at about 41 - 43 months of age depending on which teeth. So this baby monkey does not have a fever from teething because it’s not old enough to teeth.
Done some more research. Many monkeys other than the large primates are often born with teeth already erupted. Some teeth erupt within three days of birth. Hard to get clear answers on when the milk teeth generally erupt, but it seems not at the age this monkey is. Certain is that the permanent teeth come at about 41-43 months of age. Whichever way one looks at it, I think it is safe enough to say this monkey is not teething.

Dear heaven! Since when is a monkey naked because it’s not wearing human clothes? A monkey doesn’t wear clothes. It’s got it’s own permanent clothes, called FUR.

How do you know that Mynu's fever is from teething? Even though a wound is kept clean an infection can develop internally - Do the responsible thing and take him to your vet friend - He's been through enough trauma already
Fever means his body is doing what it needs to do to fight the ince too. No need to get worried right away, give it a little time to pass and if his finger gets visibly worse, then it would be alright to get it checked. But if it's looking like it's getting progressively better, then the fever is a good sign. His body is learning to fight internally, working his immune system and fever is a side effect of just that.

I always do the same things. Actions come from emotions. Mynu really likes to cling to me and not let go. Maybe he feels safe and warm every time he's next to me

Take him to a vet already. The way you keep rubbing his injured hand you probably deposited some bad bacteria into the wound. Though it may look healed there are still bacteria that can cause him to get sick and die if not looked after promptly!!! I highly doubt that he got that sick from teething. Any good caregiver would have long taken him to a vet!!!! Do it!!!
Pls get him a stuffed animal.. he will be curious and and will attend to it and will be more easy to lay him down with it

Mynu is teething and has a fever. I always change bandages and keep Mynu clean so there will be no infection. Thank you for your advice
Hopefully it is from teething but you can’t be 100% sure unless a doctor confirms that. To be on the safe side I would take him to the vet. ❤❤

People have lived this way for thousands of years, and worse. Her family probably built this property with their bare hands over generations. That to me is worth way more than any city can provide. I'd rather be comfortable knowing my family worked to provide me with my shelter over time. It's a humble lifestyle but extremely fulfilling as long as they are happy and healthy it doesn't matter what anyone thinks
