Kristen is still looking gorgeous after doing her practical skills. While Steph being so appreciative in the entire video complementing Kristen's work. The house looks lively and tidy 💗
LOL Steph complaining about a little spot of paint on her thumb and Kris is completely covered with sanding dust without complaining, oh Steph you are to funny. Love you girls💕
Was supposed to sleep but figured it'll be 16mins. worth it ❤️ and i was right ☺️.Love your backyard and what you did on the fireplace 👏. It's exciting to see you working on your new house and you guys have done a lot of work. Thanks for sharing and as always you guys are fun to watch. 😘❤️
I know it’s too late for you, but the easiest and least destructive way to “remove” wall anchors is to drive them all the way into the wall so they fall on the inside. Makes a hole that is small enough to fill without a drywall patch.
Next time you come across one of those heavy duty wall screws. Hold tension against the screw with fingers (to hold the wing nut against the inside of wall, to keep it from moving) and unscrew the screw until wing-nut falls off into wall space. You can then remove the screw and then gently wiggle the the frame out. Yes, you will still have a hole, but much smaller & sheetrock shouldn't sustain more damage than the original installation caused. Also, if it's one of those compression type with legs that's squeezed together, there are 2 usable methods: 1) loosen the screw about 1/2 inch and apply steady pressure to try to elongate the the squeezed legs. Don't apply so much pressure that you tear a hole in sheetrock. Repeat process as necessary until you can remove it. If there's no indication it will elongate, then just use option 2) ...which is, remove the screw & use a small hole saw w/small pilot bit, just enough to clear washer face that screw tightens against. Place small pilot bit in empty screw hole & drill hole through sheetrock around fastener. Remove your hole saw & just let the whole fastener fall into the wall space. Patch small hole. (It's not like you plan to use these again, so just push them into wall space and save yourself time & trouble.) I've used these methods many times and found them to be the most efficient. Hope this helps! Enjoy your home repair!
Took a break from work because my favorite ladies posted a video and I needed this pick me up. I have been loving the update on IG they are my new go to entertainment. The new house looked awesome. Steph and Kristen we appreciate you taking the time to include us and show us some of the things you got going on. Love how the family pitches in to help. Love the pups and the fact Jimmy has a house and a backyard. I am wishing y’all many great memories and blessings of happiness in your new place and this next chapter in your lives. Ohh can the next vlog be about the doors. 😂 ❤️
Congratulations girls. I've been with you since the beginning. And yes, sad to leave so many memories in the apartment. I can relate. Great job on the fireplace, Kristen. How can two people in a small apartment have so much stuff???! Ha ha. 🤣🤣🤣 So happy for you. 🤗
You’re doing a great job in filling all the holes well done, and the fireplace is simply outstanding and amazing. Thank you for taking us through your renovation and enjoying seeing how you’re going, and enjoying this video a lot.
The house is looking so good already. The stark white paint with the black of the fireplace is so nice. Would you guys have liked to have stayed in Toronto if you could?
This house is looking really good girls. I love your work ethics. The front door is gorgeous. Tell your wonderful, well behaved dog, that I said hello. He is such a good boy. The love he has for his mommies is so obvious.
A bit sad too watching you leave the condo, remebering how excited you were moving not long after the race. A new chapter in this beautyfull house, with so much space, that will change the vibe. Be happy ladies, were ever you are. xx
Omg the wall hole journey!!! i was there, addicted to the insta stories, it was such a PROCESS lol when i thought kristen had done enough, there she went on the doors restauration hahaha god bless this woman's resilience
Kristen the one big one in the wall you we're scared the easy way is to take the screw out first then use a cross tip / Philips screwdriver and unscrew the mount out of the wall if you do it slowly it should unscrew with little or no damage. Good luck.
I just discovered your KriSteph vlog about a month or so, but, i'm hooked already. It feels like you two + Jameson are family. It wouldn't be complete without Jameson in the videos. Nice house btw. Kris is very handy around the house.
When my partner and I get our house im definitely asking Kris for reno advice bc lookin fabulous on how those patched up wholes turned out! The organizing tho gotta go with Steph great job ladies ❤
Its looking soo good ladies... I was watching the Instagram stories when they was posted and I must say I was in stitches laughing soo much ... you always make my day a lot better thank you for always being you xx
It is a LOT of work fixing up an old house, even cosmetically. But the process helps you be a much better planner, organizer, budget shopper, diy fixer, and crafter, skills applicable in many parts of your life. Through the process, you get a great house to live in and added a few tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in value + healthy fit bodies. Enjoy the process and youtube has tons of home renovation projects/tutorials.
Oh I remember wall plug day 😬😬 the anxiety and adrenaline was peaking. Put that memory far back in forget pile and wouldn’t have a clue there was huge ass hole in the wall!
Looking good, I do follow you and Steph on social media so I already know how good everything looks. Hopefully you'll soon be finished with the doors, I must say you're doing a fantastic job.😀
Kris come back to us! I miss your guys’ videos! But I’m looking forward to the house being done and seeing the new setup. Maybe this time you’ll get an armchair each haha! Love you guys ♥️
im back,i missed alot,,so im here,,,ok now experience is how you learn,,trust me ,lol,,you did just fine kristen,,,i went nuts fixing up my first house,,but when it was done it looked great,,so have at it,,you will be just great,,;)
you were so busy,,you missed a few months,,its sept, now,,,:)you both have a great place,,a new house is the best,,have fun finding out all the things that is different from your apt,,,;)
If you cant get the plug that is holding onto the back of the Screw then PUSH the screw through.. you simply have a small hole to fill and leave the screw and plug in the Drywall..
So Kristen whats worse? Fixing the holes or the doors youre currently working on? And can i just say not counting the surprise videos but i think this is the most ive seen Steph with the camera :)
I am taking a little break from cleaning debris from the hurricane. Have internet back but house is damaged. It was rough and will be a long recovery.. and Hot here in Louisiana. Please keep me in ur thoughts and prayers. Just Know This ... Yall have giving me a smile from watching this video. Sooo happy for yall !!! Love yall
Love to see your strong mom. So thats your link. Girl you have to get a side cutter. Dont pull stuff out. Just cut them off.. You are perfect in putting stuff where they have to go. Like your place its cool. Big dreams for that. Please dont take so long posting. Its living a dream. Like I said before.. you can have this vlog someday and look at all you did. Growing older is okey. And making mistakes is okey. We dont want 2. But we can fix what we can. Theres a lot on fixing homes on youtube and by girls. So you have to do that. Keep mom close. That lady is a lady of great value. Did you put heat resistint paint on your fireplace. Thats maybe why they did not paint it. Even that looks up town after you paint it!
The remove and patch process is easier than all this crap, and you'll find out when you have already done it. Secret is layers and gentle sanding down each layer. We all have to do it.
Drywalling is a lot of work, cutting, mudding, taping, sanding then mud and sand & mud and sand, if it isn't done perfect it will show thru the paint, always be that "place" on the wall! You 2 try not to get too stressed out putting stuff away...It will get done.
End of an era. Now you’re paying yourselves instead of paying the landlord. After a few years, you will have a house paid in full. I’m 72 and I now have two houses paid in full. 🤩😎
Did u say dont rent from our landlord? Lol yikes that's bad I remember when u moved I.n U two were so happy. I can't wait to see more..I like the house in general so I'm sure going to be really nice when ur done.
You can or you can just fill the hole with mud then use the mesh and mud over use a real fine mesh so it is not so hard to cover. If you don't make mistakes you never learn so now you know next time what not to do, DIY and learn.
Kristen is still looking gorgeous after doing her practical skills. While Steph being so appreciative in the entire video complementing Kristen's work. The house looks lively and tidy 💗
Kris is very creative, Steph is very supportive. You really are for each other😍
LOL Steph complaining about a little spot of paint on her thumb and Kris is completely covered with sanding dust without complaining, oh Steph you are to funny. Love you girls💕
It always cracks me up when Steph says “packages boxes and bags” like the grinch 🤣

Perfect timing for me. Thanks

Lots of memories in that old apartment, but lots of memories to be made in a house you actually own. I can't wait for Vlogmas 2021 from your new home.
A bit sad too watching you leave the condo, remebering how excited you were moving not long after the race. A new chapter in this beautyfull house, with so much space, that will change the vibe. Be happy ladies, were ever you are. xx
Omg I was literally watching one of your old video while I'm organizing stuff, the timing is on POINT 😂
One of the best youtube couples. Been a follower since the beginning congrats on the new home. Sending blessings your way!
All the hard work with moving out and then moving into your first house but all worth it as you turn your house into your home🏡❤️
Omg the wall hole journey!!! i was there, addicted to the insta stories, it was such a PROCESS lol
when i thought kristen had done enough, there she went on the doors restauration hahaha god bless this woman's resilience
this video made my day, thank you ladies! ❤️
That was the perfect place to hang a picture over it and forget about it. 😀
Fireplace came out beautifully! So exciting moving into something you own! Hopefully 2 yrs time I will be doing just that. Enjoy it ladies!
Poor Jameson, having to adjust to a new home. But I bet it won't be a problem, since he is attached to his mommies. Have fun with the painting!

Right!! Hmm, I think we are alllll waiting for that day?!?!?!?

I would never be able to do it thats for sure
And how much did your former appartment cost? I mean, I grew up in a city in east germany (Leipzig) and I am acustomed to the city noises.
