I think the Metallica of today would totally do it. Back then not so much. Too busy trying to be edgy and badass in the 90s and too busy being strictly metal in the 80s
@@bloodlinefilms I heard Metallica were always fans of MJ and Kirk met him one time and was extremely ecstatic about it. Especially after he did songs like Dirty Diana and Beat It, I don’t see why they wouldn’t have done a collab around 1988-1993.

If Metallica and Michael Jackson collabed at the peak of their popularity, I can argue that it would've been the best collaboration to have ever been recorded and seen in music history.
Deca queen is out of Metallica's league when it comes to music. Queen plays a standard rock n roll/soft rock genre while Metallica is a thrash metal band
Very well done! As much of a metalhead as I was in the 80s (and still am), I could not help but Move when I heard Michael sing, I admit it. He was a Musician with that capital M.
Lol this is great and thanks for not stretching it too long, I think most MJ songs had too big of Outros. But still it really kinda feels hollow because of no bass
I don't care if it's just for fun, still it sound fukin' awesome, specially the solo, and all If you sent this to someone many years ago, they would have thought that this was a forgotten demo or something

This sounds awesome! Was excepting some wah, but sounding like Justice, it makes sense there was no wah... and also I can't hear the bass, lol. I love these "What If" song mixes!
one thousand likes! I love that you used the Justice sound. It may sound better from a different era, but I thought it was great. I kinda wish you would've left the solo alone, but I get it. It wouldn't be a true "in the style of" if you just played it as it was written. I also think the drum fill on every measure at the end was a little much. Maybe that was intentional though. It was truly awesome, two thumbs up. But I will still give my honest opinion.
…And Jackson For All
...And Justice For Ja(ck)son
...And Jackson Five All
Beat 'em all

🤣🤭🤣😂 i love both of them
Fun fact: The solo was performed by Eddie Van Hammett.

My two biggest musical inspirations, If only they actually did a colab on the 80s of 90s, two mega titans of music.

It would be sick. Michael dabbled in harder rock with songs like "Morphine" "DS" and "Give into Me"
would of been sweet

1000% agree. It’s my favorite album tones of all their albums for sure.

Apart from the lack of bass guitar that is true - but without the bass guitar in the mix it is up there with St Anger in overall tone.

3. Beat It - Raintime (damn good cover)
I have always considered that MJ has the voice to sing Heavy Metal or Hard rock without any problem. Great Cover, Mercury!!!
He certainly did post Bad. He had a really gritty voice in the 90s into the 2000s.
Unfortunately, metal was still a white man's genre back in the day. Michael Jackson would've steered clear
He would be some rasp for metal
