I use play money for my long term sinking funds because I do automatic transfers to my high yield savings account for those categories as explained in my video. I like use the money to represent what has been transferred to my account vs taking out the cash just to deposit it again. The interest earned on the HYSA makes it worth it to just transfer. Great question!
