lyrice I'm still young The mean greedy guy I was talking about For some reason, He said he loved me and kissed me My face turned red My surprised eyes got bigger My trembling lips It's like a blue wave I was so surprised I couldn't say anything I was thinking about getting angry or laughing Don't make fun of me because I'm young I can't talk because I'm shy Don't make fun of me because I'm young It's just a passing story
wow.. this is the first time I saw the original:D I like both versions.. I like the original because it IS the original.. I love the remake because it's FRIGGIN SNSD!!
Wow! The original is fantastic! I loved how he performed it, his vocals & the instruments 8) SNSD's version is cute but I don't think anything can beat the original ! no hating , i like snsd too. :3
Look. All nine of them had to go through SM talent auditions. Taeyeon got in because she won a big best voice talent show in Korea. Tell me, if they don't have talent, how exactly did they win these? Yoona is already extremely busy with SNSD. Acting is not her main job, singing is. They do simpler dancing BECAUSE IT WORKS IN KOREA. They become viral because they're easy to follow. Have you seen Hyoyeon actually dance? Please, just stop hating. They work extremely hard for their success.
: yay! i pawnt another unknown creature in an argumentative fight in the net. dat makes me uhmm? lol seriously, i love the video =) thanks for the upload.
@xoantitmu Yes, I do. They play all the time on television. Again. And again. And I have to listen to them lip-syncing on stage because they apparently aren't good enough to sing live.
I somehow feel that this man actually made SNSD possible. Most of them were just getting born back in '89. He's really like... their father. I mean, he kinda named them.
hurm i love both I love the Girls Generation cover cause well...I just love them, adorable. I love the original because of its simplicity and feels jazzy, soft spot of old school right here.
Anyhow, I may have misinterpreted, but the fact is, it's pretty obvious as to what you were implying. As for rapping, it's great that you do that. Have fun with it.
Thanks for the compliment, if it was not meant to be sarcastic. I'm sorry, I can't differentiate on the internet you see. And SSF is Soshified. It's SNSD's international online fanclub. Now to the argument. In the context you said they were pretty, it was pretty blatant that you were attempting to mock them. The rolling of one's eyes usually signifies that. It also seemed that you were doing a compare and contrast, in which you were stating that SNSD was talentless, or near that.
@iluvfReSH Wow. You are fabulous. Coming out with all the beautiful languages. Yea, I believe SNSD has a fanclub that is the size of the twice of WG because they contain so many chi ko peks. And WTF is SSF? Furthermore, I did not say that I did not like SNSD. I just said they were pretty. Please take note of that. Lets compare rapping.
@AsterSelene The first song is obviously sync-ed. Most of the time, when performers are using those head-band microphones (or whatever they're called), they're singing to CD, yes. But in that video, Genie is NOT sung to CD. Anybody can tell...maybe except you and a few others who hasn't been hearing songs for a while. It's so obvious esp. when you hear Jessica's opening so soft and a little lacking of energy towards the end.
far from being a LSC fan ... i got to say that yes, wshlew is right in saying that snsd don't have half of LSC talent; the main talent of snsd is their image, not their singing skills , and surely not their dance/writting skill since they doesnt create anything, SM Entertainment is talented to find the good song etc...
@xoantitmu ...yes, I do what it is. And I know that they'll be woefully off-key if they sing live, as the few times they have done so, they sound horrible. Otherwise (like in the Music Chart performances) it's blatantly obvious they sing off a CD. Don't dispute with someone who watches them perform on TV (yes, live) all the time.
@Asaki2000 You just contradicted yourself. You say.. "Because music is made to enjoy and not to fight who or what is better." But you also say.. "Also why the heck did SNSD even did a tribute, Because THEY ALSO NOW THIS MAN IS A LEGEND IN MUSIC!!!" You're basically saying SNSD has NO music, acting, dancing or any skill at that while you're only praising LSC. I like him a lot too but you're making the "grade school" argument. SNSD and LSC both have their own style and we should respect that.
@xxbluejay21 So, does that mean any other "idol group" can't sing? 2AM a ballad group can't sing? And Big Bang?(I'm actually hoping you say yah BB can't sing.) haha But really, just because they are in a group doesn't mean none of them can sing. Given, some aren't as vocally talented but not all.
So were they referencing this song in the movie Sunny where one of the girls says "Who are you, SoNyuhShiDae?" Cuz it was a flashback scene to the 80s, so they couldn't have been referring to Girls' Generation the group, right?
Actually the year of the past scenes in the movie was 1986 whereas this song was released in 1989. But it could be just a fault of the screenwriter or the director, and most of the Korean may think like you because few of them remember the exact year when this song came out.
...so 1989 was ridiculous in every country. whyyy is the backup singer wearing sunglasses inside?!! that said, he has a great voice, no wonder he's so famous.
It's the name of the song. He doesn't need to say it in the lyrics. Queen never says "bohemian rhapsody" anywhere in the song. Nirvana never says "smells like teen spirit" anywhere in their song. I could probably come up with more too, but you get the idea.
1989 ... YEAR IN WICH MOST OF GIRLS' GENERATION MEMBERS WERE BORN ... DECEMBER, A FEW DAYS AFTER YURI WAS BORN ...
He's definitely amazing, love his high notes. His version and GG's version are incomparable, both great songs in their own right.
wow! i heard that this song was released during 1989 and on that year also SNSD members were born! wow! great!
That's why they sang it
I'm dancing to SNSD's while listening to seung chul's ver ... LOVE BOTH
amazing, 20 years ago, already predicted the present of SoNyuhShiDae.
Oh the times when a rock singer performs wearing suit and tie :D
This was a special case. Most rock singers, whatever the era, do not wear suits.
:Angus Young peeks around the corner:
Being a sone for 10 years and I just relize this..
Khanh Nguyen Ba hâhha
Too late bruhh wkwkwkwk
Yeah me too i discover this one in 2020 haha.
what a coincidence right?
maybe SM entertainment really based SNSD group because of this song.
TAEYEON, JESSICA, SUNNY, HYOYEON and YURI were being born that year
I can't decide which one is better
So Nyuh Shi Dae's So Nyuh Shi Dae
Or
Lee Seung Chul's So Nyuh Shi Dae
we men have not doubt.
Legendary and historic song. One of the greatest Korean songs ever in my opinion, and yes I love SNSD the girl group too!
oO wow
Both versions are great
He has an amazing voice
its weird..its like listening to his song but having the image of snsd in my head - . -
WOW...i never knew this....I appreciate both versions...its a great song regardless of the age....good stuff...good stuff
WHOA HIS VOICE IS SO GOOD
아.. 전 맨처음에 소녀시대란 그룹이 나왔을때 어디서 많이 들어본 단어같았는데 이승철씨 노래였군요 ;;;
지난주에 티비보다가 알았다는ㅎㅎ;;
This song is a perfect example of a classic. Transforming from this to snsd. Amazing.
Lee Seung Chul is named the "King of Ballad" i love his music and this song!
Love this guy's falsetto...
this year 1989 is some SNSD girls were born
This song was how Girls Generation was made !!
Fucking love this! The original has so much 80's finesse!
It's cool how this song came out in '89 when most of the girls were born that year.
That's why they sang it
Oh this is SO COOL xD I like this ver. as well as SNSD's
lyrice
I'm still young
The mean greedy guy I was talking about
For some reason,
He said he loved me and kissed me
My face turned red
My surprised eyes got bigger
My trembling lips
It's like a blue wave
I was so surprised
I couldn't say anything
I was thinking about getting angry or laughing
Don't make fun of me because I'm young
I can't talk because I'm shy
Don't make fun of me because I'm young
It's just a passing story
man this sounds amazing!
I like both versions very much, but I have to say when SNSD performed this with Lee Seung Chul himself, that was just epic. :)
woah! I didn't know that SNSD's song was a cover! XD Learning new things everyday! I really love the song, this version is interesting!
both version are as great!!! ^^
이게 원조지~캬~♡
gotta love the 80s
wow.. this is the first time I saw the original:D
I like both versions.. I like the original because it IS the original..
I love the remake because it's FRIGGIN SNSD!!
Wow! The original is fantastic!
I loved how he performed it, his vocals & the instruments 8)
SNSD's version is cute but I don't think anything can beat the original !
no hating , i like snsd too. :3
woah!!! wow... that's so cool! it's the exact d same beat... i cant believe its such an old song!!
im in here because my love lee seung chul ft taeyeon, omg this is crazy
Whoa, the original is AWESOME. I mean, SNSD's remake is amazing, but this is a really, really good song. I was worried I wouldn't like it, lol.
@oniontaker3 nice one!
wow!! The original is so great!! that's why I love this song!!!
SNSD made it great too!!
They work extremely hard for their success.
of course it is, but in SNSD's case when they redid it, they added a pop flavor to it.
Lol, just realized this song was realeased in the same year as most of the SNSD was born..LOl what a nice coincindece XD
how am i JUST finding this out like 14 yrs later
I love this!!!
W-O-W~
Great song!!
thanks for this ..
: yay! i pawnt another unknown creature in an argumentative fight in the net. dat makes me uhmm?
lol seriously, i love the video =) thanks for the upload.
I like both :*
wow... sonyuhshidae!! ^^
Wow...Didn't know that song was written ages ago :)
He's as senior as Lee Soo Man himself and heard they are quite good friends.
WOW!!! he's great! i love snsd's cover but the two have different taste.... but both sing it good!
Sick beat, I could see a hip hop artist sampling off of this
eeeeyyyy ❤❤❤
@Pulerull Name of the song is So Nyuh Shi Dae/Girl's Generation
I couldn't help but dance to this XD
This song is so good that they have to use a different generation to promote it again :)
@GDraG0n21 That's because the title of this song is "So Nyuh Shi Dae".
@xoantitmu Yes, I do. They play all the time on television. Again. And again. And I have to listen to them lip-syncing on stage because they apparently aren't good enough to sing live.
both version are good
I somehow feel that this man actually made SNSD possible. Most of them were just getting born back in '89. He's really like... their father. I mean, he kinda named them.
Lee Seung Chul do,
I watch Yoona send him a CD to thank you him, let SNSD to reproduce this song.
although it was old,,but i think this version was great!!
It have different taste from snsd's..
hurm i love both
I love the Girls Generation cover cause well...I just love them, adorable.
I love the original because of its simplicity and feels jazzy, soft spot of old school right here.
Antis:
No, SNSD didn't steal this song, they redid it. There's a difference.
Anyhow, I may have misinterpreted, but the fact is, it's pretty obvious as to what you were implying.
As for rapping, it's great that you do that. Have fun with it.
Algunas reinas ya habían nacido en ese momento. Algunas estaban siendo hechas. Y algunas aún no estaban en los planes de nadie.
what the.. where did you get this ancient movie clip? haha so old... thx for sharing.
I love Lee Seung Chul. This is so much more awesome than SNSD's version. :P
Wow! Does anyone has the mp3 of this song?
link please. :)) thaaaaaaaaaaaaankkks!!
SNSD!!!
wow the background music sounds soo old.
even if this sound looked old but i like this version ^O^
@GDraG0n21 no.. you heard right.. So Nyuh Shi Dae does translate to Girls Generation:D
The background music sounds soo much like something from the Capcom catalog
The original version meant to be rock genre, dude!
Dancing like Rick Astley and everything. 😂
this singer has the same birthday as SNSD's Yuri
5th december 1989(yuri)
5th december 1966(this guy)
@iluvfReSH
Wow. You are fabulous. Coming out with all the beautiful languages. Yea, I believe SNSD has a fanclub that is the size of the twice of WG because they contain so many chi ko peks. And WTF is SSF? Lets compare rapping.
if anyone has the real song not the live version can u link it to me plz
SNSD must be Lee Seungchul's daughters now right? :D
Born Hater he sang this in '89 when the 1st snsd member was born..
@jonghungladz22 Girls' Generation
@AsterSelene The first song is obviously sync-ed. Most of the time, when performers are using those head-band microphones (or whatever they're called), they're singing to CD, yes.

@ilovesnsdtiffany so I can't actually have my own opinion, instead I have to say things everyone else says. Wow.
ㅋㅋ 탬버린춤 앜ㅋ
Ahora ya se
wow, I always thought it was SNSD who did it first lol
@SeraphimFaith referring to your quoted video of watch?v=j0M2E5m8-Uk
Both versions are good.. but i'd rather prefer SNSD's version... because i'm used to it ^_^
far from being a LSC fan ... i got to say that yes, wshlew is right in saying that snsd don't have half of LSC talent; the main talent of snsd is their image, not their singing skills , and surely not their dance/writting skill since they doesnt create anything, SM Entertainment is talented to find the good song etc...

演出的時間剛好是SNSD出生的時候
当然。少时选这首歌的其中原因。

Me too
funky XD
I am a sone for 9 years almost 10 years but i just know that girls generation is not girls generation original song haha 🤣
...so 1989 was ridiculous in every country. whyyy is the backup singer wearing sunglasses inside?!! that said, he has a great voice, no wonder he's so famous.
But he never say SO NYU SHI DAE (GIRLS GENERATION) Somebody to explain, please!
It's the name of the song. He doesn't need to say it in the lyrics.
Queen never says "bohemian rhapsody" anywhere in the song. Nirvana never says "smells like teen spirit" anywhere in their song.
I could probably come up with more too, but you get the idea.
What show is this?
when this song made??
i’m here ten years late to tell you this song was made in 1989
