actually you aren't saving those minions for battle, you spawn those which you actually produce in the battlephase (you can enter building mode during that time too if you wish, to adjust things in production)
the minions you produce before the battle, can lvl up your units if you hit a certain threshold and have the corresponding upgrade unlocked

As a jrpg and puzzle gamer, Sifd placing the factory pathing inefficiently kinda ticked me 😅
in the first 9 minutes... When you want to feed 2 people producers without needing a teleporter, just place one producer above and one below of the horizontal producers.

Hey SIFD! Really enjoy you channel and the games you cover.
Just a suggestion for your sake, ti try and mix the games you play. For example watching backpack battles is fun but after the third or maybe forth video in a row it gets very repetitive.
I think you channel would benefit greatly for mixing up content and spacing the content. For example instead of having one game you solely focus on, you can have 2-3 games whom you rotate between.
I can see this is also represented by your views!

Check out the game shapez, where the idea of the game mechanic clearly was inspired from. It is basically the factory part in its purest but most complex form.

Sifd, have you considered doing a Clickyland playthrough? It is a pretty inexpensive game.
Honestly i would play this a bit diferently.
I would use the big circul and triangle for normal unit production and all the small shapes to make the other tipes.

this looks awesome. i guess its more of an auto battler than tower defense, but the concept is cool.

Well the tower defense genre started back in the Warcraft 3 custom map days might of even been starcraft 1. As for the hybridization that's hard to say

They did not. Factorio has a two sided belt that has a lot more advanced features than seen here. The belts in this game can be essentially thought of as a road, where bridges are represented by underground belts.
@@Brandon-cc4ft there is a tech tree that gives you access to 1 spot splitters and combiners, aswell as cross over blocks. man, that was so much more comfortable to use than the normal versions.
