I am starting knitting again a shawl with thin cotton cone yarn in petrol blue colour. Then knitting corner to corner blanket in stylecraft batik swirl cake yarn in purple mist colour
Gorgeous bright shawls. Gosh if I showed all my shawls it would be a loooong video. I have given so many away over the years. Must count up how many I have knit.
You have made a lot of lovely shawls😍 Some of the patterns were already on my list, some has now made it onto the list. I am in love with your Doodler (yes it does look like the beach!), that pattern is getting cast on as sooon as I finish my Exproration Station😄 Enjoy your holiday😎🌞
Thanks so much for such a super podcast, love all the shawls, but the vertices unite is definitely my fave, I have made three, gifted one of them, but all three have been the smallest of the two! Thanks again, happy knitting, 🙏😉
Loved that ,,fran🎉🎉🎉 Thanks so much,, Prefer a smaller shawl,,,added a few to my long list,,,😅😅😅 ELAINE 🏡💕 They are all gorgeous The vertices unite appeals ,,,,
oh wow!! thank you for taking us through all of your shawls - they are all absolutely beautiful. I bloody love your honesty! 🤣 everytime I look at a ... 'not going to say the name' shawl, I always think NOPE. I'm meant to be loving this hobby 😂 Adam xx
Really enjoyed this trip through your amazing shawl collection!! Not a Stephen West design fan but some of the others really appealed to me. I made the Moonlit for your shawl along in a hand dyed cotton and I love it. You need to pick one of those you loved making and want to make again with minis or scraps and do another shawl along for us. 😁
Lovely to see all your shawls - I definitely want to knit the Vertices Unite, I have so many Stephen West patterns in my library I should actually get round to knitting some 😂 I agree with you about The Pure Joy, I loved making it too 😊
Thank you so much for this video Fran!! I think I requested it a few episodes ago. You have a shawl in every colour for every occasion! I hope to one day have such a beautiful shawl-drobe as you.
I really enjoyed this video looking at all your shawls, I enjoy your videos anyway, but I thought I’d let you know that you’ve inspired me to buy the pattern for the Zing Zip shawl. Keep up the good work ❤
Thank you for sharing all your beautiful shawls. My first knitted one working with hand dyed is Painted Bricks. It’s also a Stephen West and have to say I wear it a lot in the house when it gets a bit chilly!!
You have made some incredible shawls! My favourites were probably Winter Lights and Shawlography. I gave away my Winter Lights and now I regret it so I'm going to have to knit another in similar colours as well as the pinkish one I was planning. I might borrow your colour scheme for a Shawlography as I'm quite taken with the neons (which is odd as I usually avoid neon). My favourite shawl that I've knit is Aurora Cabin with a beautiful kit from Birdstreet. It wasn't a kit specifically for Aurora Cabin, but I bought it as a five-skein set. I'll wear it instead of a cardigan in the spring and autumn if I'm popping to the postbox, but I'll wear it all bundled up round my neck in the winter to stay snuggly if I have to go into town. It often finds its way around my shoulders of an evening during the colder months. I also wear a lot of my lace shawls a lot of the time - they're so versatile when they're lace weight - I've been known to cover my shoulders with one if I have to go out in the hot sun, and also wear them round my neck as a scarf indoors in the winter. Your video made me so happy - and excited to knit even more shawls! I think I must have nearly a hundred now though 😂
I really enjoyed that, thanks Fran! Some absolutely gorgeous shawls. I love Stephen West's shawls but I can't see myself wearing one of the ones that are a bit more involved. I really want to have a go at his Vertices Unite though. I might use the single skein I won from your Shawlathon to make the Pure Joy shawl if I can find something to go with it. It looks beautiful 😄
Have you made an eyeball shawl by Stephen West? I made two of those. I love your Geo gradient shawl because of the colors. I tend to gravitate towards dark, moody, witchy colors. All of the pastels and bright colors freak me out.😊 But your knitting is amazing. I have become such a slow knitter! I was crocheting and went back to knitting to rest my thumbs. I started on a marled magic shawl last September and I’ve picked that up again ❤
Like new hair cut colours
Weather here sheffield hot for me

Wonderful! You have knit so many beautiful shawls
Wow, you’ve been a busy girl! I’ve been crocheting 1 granny square blanket for about 4 years😮

The hitchhiker is a favorite of mine and shawl knitting is something I do enjoy in between garment knitting.

Loved this episode - so much inspiration!! ❤
Oh I loved seeing all your beautiful shawls! My most worn is the Assisi Shawl by Elise Ljeko. I love it. It’s so snuggly.
The minis are lush … you could make the Triangulum blanket
