He's the best theropod, believe me. You've never seen one this good. Nobody can hunt like Donald. Like you wouldn't believe. He's gonna get those invasive ceratosaurs out, and it's gonna be great.
Hello, I couldn't pass on this one. The sculpture is very strong and accurate. The color although dull still seems natural. Predators don't want to standout but rather blend in, we all know this. One of if not the best Allosaurus figures ever
You’re comparisons are so thorough and helpful! Unlike Andy’s dinosaur reviews, nothing against the guy but all he compares it against are the attack pack cologossurus and Robert Muldoon, and a few random chinasaurs
@@trashnoob96 the other day I was watching a pnso sauropod review and he didn't even compare it to any other pnso sauropod just figures from entirely different company's and different scales like safari figures and mattel toys
Great review! I remember I was very impressed by Paul the allosaurus at its release, but your comparison with Donald put it to shame. I never expected pnso to work on a saurophaganax! Its such a good year for morrison formation collectors! Now i just hope we finally get smaller members of the formation. I pray collectA would finally do Dryo or Camptosaurus for 2024. How are your Rebor diplos doing..? Are the bendy parts still intact? Im asking because i heard of problems with the monty titanoboa. Have a great week!
Got mine last week and i have too say its also one of my favorite PNSO theropods aside from their deinocheirus. The pose, sculpt and detail are exceptionally well done with that lovely paint scheme, he goes and pairs well with all my other allosaurus and carnosaurian theropods on the theropod shelf! I will heavily consider not minding bland color schemes though, especially for animals such as this, large reptiles tend to be more blandish when compared to more smaller members of the lineages they are in, Komodo dragons, emus, ostriches and even cassowaries are most of The time a good example of bland. , also considering their ecological environment. Its not bad to wish more vibrancy in large reptiles but considering for what they were living in, and what circumstances large dinosaurs were thriving in every day, they wouldn’t have been a good example of good paint, they would be covered in dirt, mud and would have been a good example of blandish color schemes, a good definition of no good perfect model! Great review 👍
Saurophaganax is actually slightly different from allosaurus because it is More sturdier and robust then allosaurus it also had a longer neck but was more muscular than allosaurus and is slightly larger than allosaurus I learned that from a Pnso video that was by Zhao Chuang.
Not to mention the skull, from what I've seen via pictures of the skeleton, looks more Carcharodontosaurid than Allosaurid. To me anyway, Saurophaganax seems to be a transition between Allosaurs and Carcharodontosaurs it just didn't last long in the fossil record for it to give rise to early examples of Carcharodontosaurids. Unless those animals did exist but we won't ever find them because it would be hard for those specific animals to fossilize.
I don't think so, it's very very similar to allosaurus but I'm pretty sure carchadonsaurs came from smaller theropods, I could be wrong though@@kylecollier7569
Personally, I’m unconvinced that Saurophaganax is its own distinct genus. I do think however it’s a separate species of Allosaurs (A. maximus), given how there’s already four distinct species I don’t think the idea of a larger species is a big stretch. That aside though, I think PNSO has definitely mastered their craft with the fine details and sculpting, this is one of their best models yet.
Whoa. This is like the perfect Allo. Finally.

I honestly thought "Donald" would've been more of a "orange" color.....

Thank you for the compliment!! Love being through with my comparisons. Feel like it’s very important to most collectors.
@@DinoScreamReviews yup. Especially comparing them to other Dino’s from it’s formation.
this comment is funny but also accurate 😂 andy uses the most random comparisons

Wow that saurophaganax looks amazing

I have a claw replica of this animal back in 2015
Plated sharptooth
Also would have had a longer head than allosaurus.
Did you crumble up your poster? 😂
He's a sauropod now 😢
It’s the perfect allo but also not an allo still great figure tho
Even though it’s know very poor skeletal material.
it annoyed me so much how he kept saying it was an allo when its literally not

Makes Rebor's hunk a junk look like a toy LOL
