Watching it again, I also do like the way they send up (or should that be send down) the whole 'who can sing lowest,' aspect of this song and its performances. Noch Tiefer!
What a delightful performance. Could anyone state where this is and whether the 3 bassos are all Hungarian. All 3 are fine voices, with the first the best overall, but the third singer ending with insane low notes. Where are all these guys hiding out, when you hear so many lousy bassos even at the Met these days?
