It's very difficult to say he is the best winger in premier league history as football styles and dynamics have massively shifted over that time. Would Salah have been as good or effective during the 90s or 2000s or has he benefited from the current style of football. Without serious in-depth analysis of the entire premier League it's impossible to say and takes away from other wingers across the entire premier league era. Just enjoy what he is right now, who really cares.

Cr7 had a higher peak in the PL, but he didn`t stay in the PL long enough to be considered the greatest PL winger of all time. but obviously if we consider football and achievements in every league then Cr7 is clear of Salah due to his Madrid career, and the absurd amount of records he has broken.

The England analysis is very one sided. I agree. Certain players should be dropped. And Lee should have the job. But what u need to understand is against the top teams. England will not dominate the ball. Which takes away Trent’s best attributes. Give Trent time and space and he will dominate. But against the top teams he won’t have that time and space to just ping balls around and create. And that’s the part of his game he needs to work on to be an elite rb. When he has Nico and Vinicius and pacy experienced wingers running at him all game. I’ll always chose a ben white or a walker or a Reece James or even trippier. So it’s very much so matchups on the day. But don’t get over hyped about Trent against these no name teams. He’s good. But against top sides. He won’t be that game changing. His best attributes will be humbled because he’ll be soo focused on defending 70% of the game. With all that being said. I love that Lee is using players that are not names.

But the best managers minimise the flaws of their players and maximise their strengths. Trent has the potential of consistent match winning ability when in the RB position which is a rare trait.
