@switpolack - we used the 9mm (i think it would be a 3). we're in new zealand backpacking, so had to borrow a pair of clippers from a friend for the cut. i'm not sure how long i'll keep it though, i did it for fun but actually LOVE it. so we'll see!! :) my husband is the guy in the video cutting it, and he actually likes it more than he thought he would :) if i'm happy, he's happy, right??!

that is a very swift & efficient technique, the maximum number of hairs are removed with each tight mowing motion across the head, i like the way she holds & stabilizes the cord as it comes back across the head, try a striped cape & a neck strip next time IMHO

Pro tip: Let the Clippers do the work and go at their pace. If you try and quickly run the clippers through, before the hair has been cut, then it will pull the longer uncut hair and be painful plus ineffective. -esp with longer hair like she has. Just like when mowing a lawn, you let the lawn mower do the work and don't just run as fast as you can to try and be fast. It won't work out well at all. *Keep the blades cleaned out, oiled and aligned very frequently. It's a must. You'll be shocked to see all the hair that get trapped in there. You can do this easily, if you don't know how, find some pro videos. The oil and cleaning fluid is easily affordable for most and keeps things sanitary. *Invest in some good clippers! You'll be glad :)

Big decision........to take....... Should of used a higher number grade attachment to begin with and a slower movement ......of the clippers....... However you have the right shape face to pull off the short buzz cut style ! Cool video !!!!

He's not using the clippers right. Plus they probably need cleaned and realigned... but definitely investing in quality clippers is a good idea if they're going to use them a lot.
