What a lovely day out on the jetty Uncle... that Heron was game checking out your kai lol I heard the heavier the weight the quicker it sinks the more you catch🤷‍♀️ I googled that lol those rocks stacked up looked very artistic almost oriental in nature❤ bless your whanau coming together for a Hunter gatherer mission 💛❤️the Kina look yarmmy and fat. My sister and I got a couple of punnet in Auckland... they were awful 😖 not fresh despite the expiry date. Anyhooo.... yours looked tasty on a bread! My granddad used the little black welks (booboo) he called them for catching maomao and snapper. Him and my nan ate those big ones as is boiled and straight outta the shell lol 🫣 not me!! 🤢 God bless you Aunty and whanau.... can't wait to see what you do with your minced welks😋😋
