Playthrough of track 3 'The Lifeless Charm' off our 2019 EP 'The Mind's Eye' featuring our new Dingwall NG3's. On the album we recorded this song on a Warwick Thumb BO 6. We decided to re-record the track with our Dingwall NG3's for this playthrough. All tones are coming from our Dingwalls and the Darkglass Ultra Plugin from Neural DSP.

I love this band and can’t wait to see more bands try this type of lineup. The Omnific are Australian. In Australia 20 years ago in the 90's there was a band with a drummer and 2 bass players called Presto who did very similar style music but only the 3 instruments without any sequencing or tracks on laptop.

When I was 15 and discovered the chili peppers I went straight to my mother and offered her my soul for a bass.
To be honest they're playing the bass like a guitar. I could go into the semantics about that but it still confuses me.
@@thatguysson8241 Why shouldn't they use the full range of their instrument and play more melodic parts if they so choose? And besides, there's plenty of "standard" rhythmic djent/prog bass playing in this.
