I'll be using mine more for livestreaming sports, so it was good to see positive upload speeds. I also live and travel through rural communities which is why I decided to try out this device. The one reviewed in the video--The Numen Air 5g. I'm glad I got it. The data plan prices are up there in range as well as unique data plans as well, but the service has worked for me nonetheless. I went out on an adventure with the different types of plans offered and bought different ones. I put my cellphone sim card in it, and it worked better (better technology in it is my guess) than my phone. I also managed to buy a ATT PREPAID SIM and got it to work with the device (which was an actual pain in the ass). I'm still using it for what I'm doing and have had very limited issues in terms of connectivity. The service is solid if you want to buy the devices data plans. ✌🏽
This might be my number 2 go-to. I decided to go with the 5G Solis. Pricey as heck at $400 but it comes with a lifetime of 1g per month which may come in handy in some emergencies along with the built in power bank. The build also feel more rugged in case I drop it in the middle of a jungle somwhere.
Glocalme Numen Air 5G is favor on the bands it supported rather than the maximum speed achieved for your travel. You will see others you are using would be no signal but this Glocalme Numen Air 5G is still receiving the signal with 4G to 5G. For example, in North Africa and Japan.
You’re welcome, the one last feature that prevents the GlocalMe from being the all around best is an Ethernet port. The nighthawks have Ethernet ports. This may not be a feature most people are looking for but it can come in handy depending on the use case.
Id love a video comparing the Dual Turbo to the U3. Is the DualTurbo worth the ~50 more and if so why I travel a lot and do online college and need wifi so Id love to know your opinion.
I just bought it and I can't open it for two days because it's my children's gift for Father's Day. I want to use it to offer direct TV channels from my drone. I will use it with SIM, I hope it goes well
Hey Bey, deciding between 4g roamwifi and the 5g Numen. Camping trips etc not a lot of 5g. Is Glocalme better than roamwifi or it doesn't matter using 4g? Glocalme data plans seem hefty.....Taking a hard look at the Glocalme Pro 4g model and wondering is it better than the duo turbo model? Thanks for your reviews!
Thanks for sharing your views. Does this unit send/receive SMS messages? Can you replace the internal battery? If it can't be replaced, do you think the battery can still last after two or three years of usage?
No sms text messages from using the cloud sim, I haven’t tested the sms feature with a physical sim so I don’t know. Although that will be good to know. When I test it I’ll let you know. There is no removal battery however my very 1st GlocalMe me i purchased back in 2017 and it still works just fine.
Yes, it uses a cloud sim. so you'll be able to connect to the fastest / strongest connection in the area. Glocal me also has an option to enter a physical sim so that means you can also visit a local service provider in Kuwait and get a plan if the cloud sim doesn't perform for you.
does the NumenAir deal well with traffic, cluttered environments and switching networks well? I imagine it's not a dual modem like the duoturbo which has that capability?
It’s does fair well, I recently had it with me as I was filming a 3 volleyball tournament very congested. My was showing 1 bar but I couldn’t use the internet is was super slow and unresponsive. The numen was giving me 1-2 bars and switching from 5G and 4G+ although is had one bar it performed a lot better then my ATT 5G. When I ran into issues I used the optimize network feature
Dave, I live in NJ and traveling to Brazil in May and looking to work remotely from Brazil. For work I need Internet connection, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and to make phone calls to clients back home. By investing in this device and a Brazilian data plan…will I be able to make/receive calls with no problem? And use Zoom and Microsoft teams? What do use suggest I do so that I don’t run into any issues while I’m out there. Thanks
Well the best thing about the GlocalMe is you can use both the built in cloud sim and a physical sim. I would recommend a local Brazil data plan because you’ll most likely be able to get a unlimited plan for a monthly fee.
What is the best way to estimate how much data I need to buy? For an 8 hour day of work for example, maybe 2 hours of zoom call a day, how much data would I use? Estimating.
You’ll have to find out how many gigs per hour zoom consumes. Once you find that out you’ll be able to determine how many gigs a week you need from GlocalMe

How is the Solis holding up for you? I returned mine. It was slow, choppy, and just was not reliable.
