And yeah the gravediggers would “double dip” and also take any valuables that were left with the corpse, as well as the fee paid by whoever wanted the cadaver. But comparing something that helped improve medicine and our lives, to this idiot disrespecting the dead by tapping on their graves, is just silly.
Yeah exactly! I love visiting graveyards, been doing that since i was a child and i always try to make graves look better, even if i don't know those people. I cannot look at uncleaned tombs so i always try to wash them at least a little or fix flowers. I have my family members scattered in like over 8 different graveyards. Every year it's a lot of work. It's always me going with my parents and my grandma. We spend hours there, not only for own family members but also friends of the family etc. I don't know how old that guy is but what he did literally made my stomach twist. My dad really loved his step dad, unfortunately he died just before i was born. Imagine my dad seeing someone tap on his grave. He would've thrown fists lol.

I visit the dead regularly and unfortunately there are old stones that look abandoned and unvisited but people so often TAKE gifts and flowers, even off children’s graves. I’m sorry but if you molest a grave and spray shit all over it and someone especially a family member sees you, you will 100% be joining the dirt.
About a month or two ago, in my country, a trial began against two girls who filmed a little tiktok and dance on their father's grave. they can be convicted (or have already been convicted) under the law on defamation of the grave and the military (their father was a soldier and died defending the country from russian occupiers). For me watching this video was really strange with knowing about this situation in my country💀

The only "graveyard asmr" I find okay is the ones that clean graves for free for the family. Even then I think they definitely should get permission from the family first. I live in southern Louisiana and we take final resting places extremely seriously and with respect. If these ASMR artists wanted to make ASMR in a graveyard but also wanted to actually show respect and not just use it as click bait, they could've gone to an older cemetery not in use (1700s/1800s) with the permission of the town hall and groundskeepers, and cleaned said graves/give flowers and condolences while filming their work. Still not the best idea for ASMR, but it would be so much more respectful and would also give the families that still live in the area peace of mind that their past generations from hundreds of years ago were being up kept and thought about by today's generation.

I live in southern Louisiana and we take final resting places extremely seriously and with respect. If these ASMR artists wanted to make ASMR in a graveyard but also wanted to actually show respect and not just use it as click bait, they could've gone to an older cemetery not in use (1700s/1800s) with the permission of the town hall and groundskeepers, and cleaned said graves/give flowers and condolences while filming their work. Still not the best idea for ASMR, but it would be so much more respectful and would also give the families that still live in the area peace of mind that their past generations from hundreds of years ago were being up kept and thought about by today's generation.
