I built a hyper loop on the moon in v1.0 vanilla modewith no docking just legs to clamp parts together, I'd love to have the time now to do something similar with all the new parts

When landing on planets with atmosphere, parachutes are your friend. This assumes you don't plan to leave those planets.

Real talk, though-
There's more air in the hyperloop tunnel than average martian surface conditions.
A normal train could just... go that fast. One percent wind resistance means a lot more than you give it credit. It took thirty years to develop a mic sensitive enough to hear the wind, over there. Mach doesn't mean much when it's the same total force as a 65mph wind
In other words, surface air density on Mars is equivalent to Earth air density at 120,000 ft altitude. A Maglev train on Mars could function at the desired speeds in the OPEN AIR, making the complexity of the airtight tube, airlocks, vacuum pumps etc totally unnecessary.
When you build bigger ones it gets buggy and the wheels get into the ground xD

My god i have trouble getting to the Earth Low Orbit
The reason why the tires doesn’t explode when it hit on the ground very hard is because the tires doesn’t have actual physics so there is no problem landing a rover on Moon when it doesn’t have air and Atmosphere
This was made with infinite fuel on so it’s easier than it looks but it’s build is impressive
And to have infinite fuel cost you money

It takes practice. Make sure to come in at a low orbit and cancel lateral momentum.
Honestly, landing a capsule on Venus is easy by comparison. The atmosphere slows you down, then you deploy your parachute and the laws of physics do the rest.
But the moon? It's manually balancing thrust with gravity all the way in.

I just counted, and somehow managed to land 60 capsules on Mars. Each with a computer, docking station, and solar panel. They are all in a nice line. I call it my Mars settlement.

Well, I deployed it by multiple touches and the ships usually roll uncontrollably when you entering the atmosphere too fast. The solution is adding solar panels on both side of your ships
