My boss just surprised me with a T680 after 6 long months of headaches with a Volvo, I’m never looking back, literally the most comfortable truck I have ever driven!!
Which Volvo was it?
I'm trying to learn more about how these different trucks feel for truckers in the real world. I thought Volvo was considered the "Tesla" of trucks and is known for being comfortable and easy to drive. Is the Kenworth really more comfortable to drive? What was the Volvo giving you issues with?

I love Kenworth trucks and designs over all the other trucks on the road but the 567 peterbilt with a sleeper is the most balanced comfortable to drive truck I've ever driven hands down. The only bad thing I had to say about it is the cab might be too quiet lol I had to open the windows to hear when to shift 😂
@@overdp Volvo is like BMW with cars: If it works, it works perfect. But it never works perfect for a longer period of time.
I just got a 2024 t680 man I’ve been wanting one of these next gen’s for a while, one of the best looking trucks on the road
Andy I have to tell you I always had a love of Pete's but since I have started watching your channel and seeing how KW just keeps getting better and better and not to mention friends who have KW's I am now a definite KW fan. The W900 is just amazing in every way. Great Video once again.
Andy, you never let me down with another great video. Real sharp looking. Maybe a small red stripe/swish on the exterior would have been nice to accent the red in the cab.
Nice truck. like it, I'll be getting my license by the end of this year right now I'm in training for my class 1. I've been a dump truck driver since 2019, but I'm looking to change things up. I love this truck 🚚
What an amazing truck🤩 I'm a line haul driver and obviously I don't drive anything like this, I do know that I'd be on edge at every truck stop I parked at with all the idiots behind the wheel of some of these trash trucks with little to no training, they will hit and run if they get a chance and your beautiful expensive truck will be trashed in an instant, maybe it's a good thing you can't even get a spot at most of the truck stops out here on the road, hell you can't even get a spot at most rest areas. I usually stop at QT or some other little spots I know on my run.Just a few more years and I'll be done with it. Wish I could have a truck like this but not this late in the game.
The flip out fearing on the drivers side is to get equipment off or out if the headake rack easier .

I wish that I found work in Canada or the USA back in 2003.
Today I get a family and no more time to drive for days or weeks fulltime anymore.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 I’m watching this on Saturday, Sept 16. Gone by now? Even the wasps like the truck, ey?! I’m quite impressed…enough to go to my local KENWORTH in Columbus, Ohio to look at one! I’m not quite sold on the all the blacked out options, but who knows. I think that the company is quite proud of the truck, with all the 100 logos around it. A 3:25 ratio…WOW. You didn’t mention the heated steering wheel. Does it have the option of getting one? I have to say that I didn’t care for it at 1st when I got my pickup, but I LOVE it now. Yeah, double bunk is the way to go! So it’s a 12 speed automatic? I would love to take that for a test drive. Oh, and a special edition trailer as well?! Cmon! That’s doing it BIG! Well, I can say that I’m digging it MORE! Good stuff. Could you put PORTER TRUCKING all over it as well?! 🥹Blessings my friend! 🥰🥰✌️

I e seen lots of other videos from drivers and owners complaining about lots of squeaks and interior noise as well as exterior fairing rattles. You’d think they’d sort this out before production. I realize the unhappy people are the loudest but wow. I do like the looks of it for an aero truck
Can you get different cabinet configuration. Like a nightstand cabinet behind the driver seat to put things on, like a CPAP machine

Great truck, i drove 2019 super clean polished alloys way better than spray paint black wheel the only thing they put on this truck is new design Hood and side running lights that is it the Sleeper is poorly designed with No cabinet space freezer like refrigerator slides out instead swing open like should I believe this truck was set to put frightliner out business in its class trucks but frightliner Cascadia is actually best truck on road hope they bring new design in place till this day and best cab space ride comfort fuel economy I hope they improve KW quality of design bring new Sleeper and more room I have driven every kenworth you can imagine since early 90s when they built real trucks with big CAT motor double stack on side premuim vit interior not these computer driven trucks with no pedal speed and Cummings 2008 was last good engine rest are nightmare poorly design plastic fitting on hoses poor oil cooler with back order parts no inventory you will be stuck on side road out work for months there are KW trucks sitting around state no parts from red motor company. Go with Detroit 100% better motor powerful don't purchase pacer motor total garbage .

OH NOW I SEE THAT powerhouse Paccar motor... what a SLAP IN THE FACE
The thing I've never liked about kenworth is the hood mirrors, they're almost useless, And the kick out from the driver's seat to the sleeper On both sides obstructs your view in the mirror's, especially when backing in your trailer, in my opinion the freightliner cascadia is hands down the best, And yes the kenworth is nice and new on the inside, but I've never liked the inside either, The driver and passenger seat are so narrow, And all the controls for driving on the stirring wheel And dash are just Is in my opinion placed wrong, , well it looks like they did something right with the gear selector and the Jake break, so that's a good thing, the only reason why I'm commenting on this is because I'm flying in to Delaware to pick up a truck from the dealership, And it looks like they have not changed very much at all in the sleeper, Freightliner has the best frigerator design, with a flat embossed tabletop, There is like no room in that damn bridge, you're me stopping every other day for groceries

Why such short wheel base, 245 is much better and gives a better ride, personally the longer the wheel base the better the ride. Paccar not for me.

No offense to the kenworth guy, but THESE NEXT GENS ARE NOT WORTH BUYING. I have one with paccar (2022). It’s at the shop every weekend and those kenworth dealership guys are not able to fix them. Mine’s only got 335267 kms on it and its got all kinds of problems.

I want to know why we have the technology for rear-view cameras with the screen on the A-pillar... But not the foresight to put those cameras ON THE TRAILER so that the driver doesn't have a blind side!
